Welcome to the sixth interior overhaul in the JK's Whiterun interiors series for SSE. You can turn off the Numinex hanging skeleton and revert his skull back to the vanilla position on top of the Jarl’s throne if you prefer, by activating the Dragon stone decoration on top of the shelf in Farengar’s studio (check the last 4 pics on the images tab for reference). Now go explore, there's a little more to see than shown in the images! The ESP has been cleaned with the SSEEdit auto clean feature and flagged as an ESL, so it doesn't count towards the ESP limit. Big kudos to Teabag86 for the Numinex switch toggle feature, testing and ideas.
Known issues: If you've added this mod to an existing save then you won't be able to complete Farengar's Enchanting Tutorial Quest. Use the console command "setstage tutorialenchanting 20" to remove the quest from your journal. If you start a new game or have already completed the quest on an existing save then this won't be a problem.
is this mod safe to use with other quest mod?did it change location some npc or something that can breakng quest? it look goergeus but im recently experience some issue with enhanced solitude,..
For some reason, the pillars in Dragon's Reach are purple. I assumed it was an incompatibility with Legacy of the Dragon Born, but I have Legacy of the Dragon Born Patches and made sure all JK's mods were selected. Any ideas on what else may be causing this?
This was already answered (2nd page of the comments), but I'll tone down my internal asshole and copy the answer.
To find what might cause the issue you should (with More Informative Console installed) open the console (~) and click on this column. In the frame on the top left you will see some additional data about the reference. The part which interests you is the 7th line: Model. It indicates which mesh is used for the particular static (in this case it's WRIntCastleFreePillar01.nif). You need to find in your mod's (not the plugins!) order which mod provides the modified model version (in MO2 it's easy - you can find it in the Data tab) and check its description and requirements in case you miss something. Alternatively, you might open the model in NifSkope, click on the part with missing texture, open the BSShaderTextureSet branch, look at the texture paths and check if you have all the necessary files. My suspicion (but I'm not sure about it, you have to verify this theory by yourself) is that you have the meshes with parallax enabled, but you don't have the appropriate texture for parallax.
Hey, I managed to convert most of your mods for personal use to 32bit "Oldrim" and they run just fine. Oddly enough only Dragonsreach creates severe issues, it runs but only for a short time beforte it creates severe instability, disabling and enabling it fixes the issue though (for a time). Hopefully I'm not asking for too much but does anyone have an Idea what causes this to happen?
(I know these mods are intended for the 64Bit Edition but due to a few mods not getting updated, especially an older ENB which I love I opted to stay with "Oldrim")
I could even provide the conversions if there is interest for them :)
Why does this happen? it only very recently started happening, happened a bit before I made this post actually
I didnt install anything new game-wise, aside from Better Arch-Mage's Robes and Ebony Mail, prior to that everything in dragonsreach worked fine
I looked it up online and while there were a few other people with the same problem as mine, they didnt get any answers on how to fix it, so I have come here in hopes that someone will provide a solution
its not a game breaking bug, I can certainly keep playing with it, but if fixable then Id rather fix it instead of leaving it there
ps. Ive tried this on a new game and yes, this problem still persisted
https://modwat.ch/u/zilya for my mods and loadorder
any help would be greatly appreciated
pss. Ive not actually gone into all the JK's Interiors, only a few, but the few that Ive have entered do not have this problem
edit: to clarify even further the textures are still there, just arent loaded? i suppose? if i make my way over there itll load in all the textures and no problems whatsoever, aside from the fact that now the side where i was originally at is now unloaded, again aside from this texture issue, dragonsreach works perfectly fine with no other bugs
edit 2: Ive since discovered that Candlehearth Hall in Windhelm also suffers from this, though to a lesser degree. Instead of the textures cutting off halfway in the building, it cuts off when going up and down the 2 floors of the inn, the 'cut' is inbetween the stairs
any way on how to fix that? load order issue orrr? im not very good at troubleshooting mods for the most part, just rely on other people having the same problems in the past and copying their solution while hoping for the best
ive also never really had any issues with ELFX until now, so this is new to me
Hi, I had the same issue as you. I fixed it by removing the ELFX Plugin for Dragonsrach from JK's Interior Patches. Not sure if you have the same patches but thought I'd say.
I ran into this problem today and spent a great deal of time trying to solve it. Most likely you are using ELFX + ELFX Shadows 1. Do not install the patch from JK - it is outdated, it also says so in the mod's launcher itself. 2. You need to download the patch hub ELFX Shadows. The order of downloading mods can see here.

p.s If you have done all the points and it did not help, in MO 1.click on the "Create Backup" button 2.click on the "Restore from backup" button Hope this helps you.
Please don't mislead other people - the ELFX patches from JK's Interiors Patch Collection aren't outdated. They are just made specifically for ELFX itself, not for ELFX Shadows. ELFX Shadows isn't a newer version of ELFX - it is a separate mod built on and dependent on ELFX. It alters or adds some new records in various cells, therefore the base ELFX patches might not be compatible - hence the information in the Patch Collection installer. For users who want to use the regular ELFX, provided patches serve their purpose.
All of the interiors that JK has made don't work, they don't even load into my game, its just the vanilla interiors. I don't have anything that is conflicting but I cant get them to load
Are you aware that already half a million users downloaded this mod? Do you think anyone from this group would report if it didn't work? Did you check if you have plugins enabled? How many plugins do you have at all? Did you install and properly configure SSE Engine Fixes?
i wouldnt say they all dont work but for me dragonsreach and warmaidens just refuses to work im not sure why i installed them with mod manager but theres no plugin
Edit: alright so had to install them manually because installing them via mod manager puts the esps in the wrong location, the file structures are fucked on alot of these but not all
Due to how NMM handles its installation, we can't support people who use it because it's literally impossible for us to tell what's in your install directory. Sorry.
Since the MDugan1975 didn't listen to our requests to shorten their post I deleted it. Here's the original message with the parts hidden in spoiler tags:
I'd start by deciding if you want to use Lux or ELFX. They aren't compatible at all. Then you should install all the appropriate patches for the chosen mod. The slowdowns you mentioned are caused by the engine - your computer runs out of memory while loading all elements in the area at once. It might be caused due to two light mods loaded altogether, but this is just an assumption. Purple parts of the models indicate that you're missing the appropriate texture. Maybe you've installed SMIM meshes for Lux (I'm not sure if they touch the columns, but it's the first coming to my mind), but you don't have the Static Mesh Improvement Mod in your setup?
PS: Please, edit your post and hide the load order in spoiler tags, so it won't clutter half of the comments page.
@MDugan75 JK's Skyrim already includes JK's Whiterun, Riften and Skyhaven Forge. You definitely don't want to be running both at the same time. Czasior is correct, you have installed the Lux SMIM meshes instead of the vanilla meshes option. Please edit your post to hide your mod list in a spoiler.
I don't know if anyone is like myself or not. I strat on a new save and the Farengar's Enchanting Tutorial Quest doesn't end. it just told you go to the enchanting desk.
I expect you have a mod conflict possibly with a minor script change directing you to a marker you can't access. This is just a guess, it's not an issue I have seen before, except on initial release which was fixed immediately. Use the console command "setstage tutorialenchanting 100" to complete the quest and remove it from your journal.
I am just wondering if I messed up somewhere, but I feel like Dragon's Reach entrance is way too bright. I have no ENB, I only use EmbersXD and Palace and Castles Enhanced. My monitor does have HDR, would that play a role ?
https://imgur.com/a/tUPJKZB
Edit: Disregard, it's actually Palace and Castles Enhanced that makes the entrance so bright. It seems it adds a light source right there. I used several lighting mod combinations till i realized this.
My issue is every time I enter get an infinite blackscreen only with Dragonsnreach every other location works just fine. BTW I use ELFX as my lighting mod.
Same here using Lux. My papyrus log gives this error over and over: [02/01/2024 - 10:05:21PM] [WeaponRackTriggerSCRIPT < (FE1609C0)>]WFR:OnCellAttach() ERROR: missing WRackActivator; 'ActivatorBusy' state.

1) You have all the necessary patches
2) You install it (and the patches) before you start a new game.
I'm not sure how it relates to Enhanced Solitude since Dragonsreach is placed in the Whiterun, but maybe you meant something else.
