Looks like there's some issue with how this mod was updated from Oldrim that causes issues with crafting Albino Spider Pods. (The in-game recipe and the description page list what should be the proper recipe, Bone Meal + Spider Egg = Albino Spider Pod, but this instead produces a Glowing Spider.)
What worked was downloading the original Oldrim mod instead...
Sorry, just saw this reply... if you're asking if the form 43 error will be a problem after you run the mod through CAO, no, it shouldn't be. That's an issue CAO is designed to address.
I recommend using Arachnomancy - A Spider Scrolls Overhaul: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/67272 at this stage, my mod is just a straight Oldrim port, with no support.
Unfortunately, Arachnomancy is a completely unsuitable replacement. An overhaul is not a replacement for a simple fix.
I would love to be able to run around with a troop of cloaked spiders, but I can't because at a certain point they can't be replenished. Once you use up all the albino spider pods in the game, that's it. No more.
It seems like there should be an obvious fix to this, but all the mods I found that address this instead fix the "problem" of needing to run through White Ridge Barrow in order to acquire spiders. But that's not a problem in my opinion. I don't want a way to bypass this; I want the imbuing chamber to be a reward for successfully navigating the dungeon. Opening up a new way to play the game is a much better reward than yet another magic weapon I'm never going to use. Don't ruin the reward by making it available from the beginning of the game.
I've found mods that allow you to buy albino spider pods, but they always allow you to buy spider scrolls also so there's no need to craft them at the imbuing chamber. I've found mods that let you craft albino spider pods, but only out of damaged albino spider pods, which are also a limited resource so it doesn't fix the problem. I've found mods, like Arachnomancy, that allow you to acquire more albino spider pods but also completely overhaul the system.
This is the only mod I've found that fixes the right problem. Except it doesn't, because it's broken.
I apologize if this sounds like I'm demanding you fix it. Honestly, I do appreciate the work you put into porting this mod. This is just me venting my frustration at not being able to find a simple and elegant solution to an obvious problem.
Have you tried running the original mod through CAO as I described above? Both the links in my post appear to work, and the result of that process is still working great for me, both on my old install of the game and on a fresh one. All the best with it.
CAO is an asset optimiser and has zero effect on crafting/in-game features so it is highly unlikely a CAO conversion of the Oldrim mod would solve bugs with the mod, apart from visual ones.
I can't make albino spider pods at all using this mod.
The description page and the recipe in the game state that albino spider pods can be made by putting bone meal and a spider pod in the imbuing chamber. But when I do that, the result is a glowing spider. There seems to be no way to make albino spider pods that I can find.
Too bad, as it's the only reason I downloaded this mod.
I always found the spiders interesting but some were hard to use effectively. But glad your doing something here, are you looking to expand into more types or variations?
Eventually, my next plan is to tweak some of the spider stats to make them a bit stronger. I also have some interesting ideas in mind (spider-wielding enemies, a spider peddler, failed experiment chance etc.)

...and running it through CAO:

This results in a Skyrim Special Edition-compatible mod that works properly.
Hope this helps anyone having problems with this version.
Would the form 43 be an issue here tho?
