Just to confirm since you didn't mention it in the description, but this should be compatible with Vampire overhauls like Sacrosanct and Better Vampire, right?
Yes, they are not making changes to this particular dialog. If you feel uncertain, then load their mods after. I am not using any scripts, this is purely a dialog modification of the existing dialog already in the game.
for immersion. the dawnguard specialise in hunting vampires, they should know them when they see them. stage one vampires are the most normal-looking. later stages have no shot of going incognito around professional vampire hunters. you only need to revert to stage one if you want to swing by fort dawnguard
Just want to say thanks for that little tweak with Serana. I found it odd that is willing to turn you In Chasing Echoes but not thereafter.
Im kinda split between the idea of doing Dawnguard as a Vampire. On one hand Isran uses a device to check PC and the 2 at the end of New Order, so obviously he does not 100% trust his own guts is a vampire and maybe really cant see it with the naked eye. On the other hand, who if not members of Dawnguard would be able to spot a Vampire with the naked Eye.
They're incompatible in the sense that it'd be pointless have both. This one makes them not even notice you're a vampire, Dark Ally only allows you to be a vampire around them if you also have vampire dust. Different pathed solutions to the same problem, just choose one or the other.
Was looking for a mod where I can be a vampire and still join Dawnguard. Unfortunately since Better Vampires (and Serana Dialogue Addon) has since been updated to 8.9 (2023), this mod most likely won't work?
So I was having the issue of Rising at Dawn being placed in my mission list by Isran after recruiting Sorine and Gunmar. Instead of running off to Falion in Morthal and losing my vampirism, and all the progress I had made with Better Vampires, if you type "player.setstage VC01 200" in your console command, it will end the quest, remove it from your mission list, you don't have to be cured, the Dawnguard will immediately talk to you again, and you will retain any progress you have with Vampire mods. For Better Vampires it does "reset" you, but you just have to simply feed off someone and the mod will give you back your powers as number of necks bitten is retained. Use the troubleshoot menu get points to spend on powers you had prior to removing Rising at Dawn. Much faster than actually finishing Rising at Dawn. If Rising at Dawn is put into your mission list it will prevent you from speaking to the Dawnguard as the mission essentially makes it publicly known that you are a vampire and prevents this mod from working. Once it's gone, no matter how you go about it, this mod will work.
I think I might have found the problem - if you have Rising At Dawn in your journal it will not work. Does anyone know how to delete it? The setstage command isn't helping, cause I will lose all my vamp skills (Sacrosanct)
doesnt work on better vamps, tried all options. No go. Well can't pass the test at least, gonna try skipping that part with console, and see how the rest goes.

The Legendary edition is also available, see link at the top of the Description.
Edit: Updated Description with this information.

Maybe the Stage-1-Check is a good middle ground.
Good work :-)
I'm using better vampires. I've tried every download option, and none of them seem to actually work.
Trying to turn in quest "A New Order" and no matter what version of this mod I have installed, I get detected and told to go cure myself every time.
To work around this, I simply had to use console commands to complete the quest. setstage DLC1HunterBaseIntro 200
