How exactly is "Magicka regenerates 5x faster" in any way (at all) comparable to "Fortify Magicka Regen 75%" (which would be 1.75x times faster, if no other modifiers apply)?

This mod is for the issue with the fortify destruction(or whatever spell school) & magicka regen combined enchantment that you get from disenchanting novice robes of destruction(or whatever spell school.) That enchantment is broken and completely useless because the magicka regen part doesn't scale with the spell cost reduction. So you could have 25% spell cost reduction but it never goes above 10% magicka regen. This is a problem specifically with that enchantment and the chaos enchantment because they were designed to only have one effect be able to be increased despite having 2 or 3 effects. You could still make robes that had 25% spell cost reduction and 150% magicka regen if you mastered enchanting and had the perk that lets you put two enchantment on an item; but it makes no sense why they even included the fortify destruction/etc. & magicka regen combo enchantment instead of just giving you the two seperate enchantments when you disenchant the robes. With a working version of it like this mod you can have the combo effect and still be able to put another enchantment on the robes/armor.

So this is a different take on:
    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3081

Their solution was to make each tier of robe a separate enchantment. Yours is to not touch the original enchantment and instead add in a single (standalone) new one that is more dynamic, correct?
Neither is a perfect solution, I prefer "replacement" to "additional item" solutions, but at the same time they add in at least 4x as many enchants.

Sorry for the late reply, but yes, this is just 1 enchantment for each school, with the idea and the balance of it being balanced around the idea that at full enchanting power you should end up with a high end robe via a dynamic enchantment. I didn't want to outright replace an enchantment for the sake of any other mods that would rely on it breaking due to it, I just wanted a very light and easy solution that would play well without too much clutter.
