I didn't get permission to use the assets; well, it wasn't denied, the original author never replied. A shame, because they make a great difference ingame. Hmm, maybe I'll contact him/her again (fingers crossed).
The new knapsack textures look really good, nice work! Can't really tell the difference with the linen cloaks though. I don't like the new rain splash effect and I think you should really offer an alternative file without that or make an installer that lets you choose which parts of the mod to install (sure I can just delete/rename soggyfeet_spray.dds, which I did, but for convienince sake and for people that don't know that it would be nice to have), since I'm not the only one here prefering the original.
Ah great find, I was just about to spend a couple hours meticulously changing the splashes in gimp to reduce their brightness. Your changes are perfect. THANKS!
I was adding W&C to a new build on May 3 and thought "damn these textures sure are dated." So I searched for HD ones and you had just uploaded this. I've played with it for a few days now and have to say: it just works! Especially the backpacks.
I would suggest mixing with one of the many facemask textures for the full effect. Way to bring a great mod forward into 2020!

Optional "No soggy feet effect" file added.
And yes, it took me a little time to find the "perfect spot".
