Moss does not only grow on north-facing surfaces. There's tons of moss and similar growth where I live, and it can face any direction you could imagine. In fact I just looked it up; though it may prefer to face north (in the northern hemisphere), it absolutely does not always face north.
Same issue for me. I use most of Clevercharff's mods, but recently had to look for other options for imperial forts just because the frost forts look too white for my taste.
Rest of the imperial textures from this mod are great, just wish we had the option to use those on all forts.
+1 I ended up overwriting the ice textures with the regular textures and deleted the ice decal. Other than that, this mod is fantastic as are all of Clevercharff's mods. They're an extremely talented artist.
Thanks so much for all your dedication and hard work. I have everything you have made and Skyrim looks incredible. You sir are a true artist, don't let all the jealous people try and put you down. Keep up the great work.
Very nice textures as usual, CleverCharff! Thank you for sharing your hard work.
One question: the jail doors and bars in your 3rd picture look great, but the ones in my game look terrible. Any idea what mod those textures are coming from?
Would definitely be cool to see a version with either less moss or no moss at all. There are definitely some interiors where there's just way too much moss.
Nice... It would be great if you could use the texture of the stone wall like the one in this mod "Farmhouses and Farm Towns by CleverCharff"... It is more beautiful, cleaner (without moss/grass) and the stones are in various colors... (On the other hand, it is normal to look old/dirty/mossy, because all the forts and towers are just ruins)..
Or, is it somehow possible to extract that texture from "Farmhouses and Farm Towns" and use it in this mod?! .. If possible, how can I do that?! .. Thanks a lot
PS: In fact, I also downloaded more textures from "sketchuptextureclub.com" but I don't know how to use them :))
EDIT: Ok.. I finally succeeded.. I replaced the stones texture of the wall and floor.. and the moss I replaced with ivy (ivy is bigger than normal but looks better than with moss)..
Im normally not a poster, mostly just a lurker on these forums, but i just have to give my compliments on the major improvement you've made to my game. It was a silly Sunday when i just, for the fun, downloaded your mod with the totally misplaced presumption that 'it wouldnt be as great of a texture pack compared to my old and trusted LO'. o'Boy i was wrong. Now im spending the last couple days changing every thing to adopt your great mods. So my sincere thank you./

But...
Too much moss.

you can change the moss texture with ivy for example, if you haven't found another better solution
