If you install SMIM over Skyland, SMIM meshes will use its custom textures (yellow tint wood).
This mod will fix that by modifying the SMIM textures to match the Skyland palette. -

click preview file contents, textures\smim\architecture\whiterun. same texture paths that are in your archive
just let skyland overwrite smim, its textures are higher resolution anyway
actually yours are just the same as the ones in skyland but with moss added?
i like the moss though, it's a nice touch. i wish there were more variations to the skyland wood already, although it is a good base material. so i think i'll use yours anyway -
I just download Skyland Whiterun again, and you are right, there are textures for SMIM included, what a surprise, I didn't have them installed in my game, maybe I overwrited them with the ones of SMIM after I installed Skyland. That is why I decided to do the patch.
Well, as you said, my textures are not the same as Skyland, I added some moss (something like the ones of SMIM have), and the wooden spikes have the two sides chopped up.

Good job. That color mismatch has always bothered me.
The image shows 1K and 2K version but I can only see one file.
