is there any way for me to have face AND body overlays fade/appear? I'm using this for running makeup/bruises and cuts overlays for combat but I simply can't choose between face or body overlays :(
I'm very late for this, but you can't use the makeup paints for Animated Overlays in case newcomers stop by and check the comments. Only use the ones that end with "Paint" (ex: Face Paint, Body Paint, Arm Paint, etc...)
i watched that vid and he magically has cool tattoos in a list where i have only "default", is this to be used with other tattoo mods? does it not come with tattoos?
got my girl setup with burnt umber tatt's at idle, pulls the shield and mace and they light up bright red and ember sparks start rising. absolutely nailed it
Any way to get this tied to a power instead of combat/weapon draw? I love the idea of visually powering up but would rather choose when to do so than be forced into it every time I draw my sword. Not every level 5 bandit needs glowing fire eyes and maximum effort xD as it stands toggling it through mcm is hella faffy. Be much easier to just have it hotkeyed / favourited and press Z
I'm experiencing an issue with the feature that enables effects upon weapon draw and during combat; neither function is working for me. I understand how to activate the body paint glow, and the full-time effects are functioning perfectly in terms of particle display. However, I'm unable to get the fade-in and fade-out effect on weapon draw to operate correctly, regardless of how much I adjust the sliders. Could there be a conflict with another overlay I'm using, like body sweat?
This is very cool thank you. But I feel it desperately needs enb light as in the dark they don't show up, only do if my girl activates her magic and the tats near her hand show up or if she steps into a lit area do they show up.
I'm doing a follower of Mora playthrough, a seeker of knowledge with cool apocrypha themed spells pack and using community overlays 3 for the daedric script and I'd love it to be seen when fighting in the dark. I saw in one of the videos that the guys tats glowed brightly in the dark and I wonder how he/she got that working, unless it's down to the enb, I'm using old v4 Rudy for Cathedral Weathers with Zangdars' reshade on top of that.
Edit. Ooh my goodness I never even clocked the glow option in race menu. Now they glow wonderfully in the dark. Got purple runes floating around me, ebonyflesh autocasting thanks to Ocatos Recital spell from Apocalypse Magic, a cool black and purple effect on skin from FleshFx by DeserterX for the ebonyflesh, and my deadric script in a soft white glow and it all looks fantastic together. I have endorsed this.
So yeah, if on a xbox contoller press Y or T if you using keyboard and mouse when in colour select and set your glow level. 🥰
I realize this is a pretty old comment at this point. However, if you happen to still be interested in this, I have released a mod called Combat Eyes which might do what you're looking for here.

Just set your overlays in Racemenu and then configure it as you want in the MCM menu.
