1. Test if you have the problem with only this mod enabled! 87% of all bug reports are actually compability issues. 2. Are you on a new save or an existing one? 3. Use the mod "More Informative Console" to identify which mod last edited an npc/object. 4. If possible, screenshot it the issue
- "NetScriptFramework SkyrimSE" can be used to get crash logs
I'll move your post to the bug report section if I got enough info to go on.
I have a problem with the mod. Some NPCs added with the mod are silent and their sound files do not work. They react to dialogues but there is no sound.
would it be possible to create a patch between "Whiterun valley -hold expansion" and "Capital whiterun expansion" that makes sure that at the entrance of WR the sellers of one mod are not buried by the EEC house of the other maod, just like the stalls on the other side are buried by a hill of dirt?
Sorry if this is a repeat, but I gave him the gold, I have the dye and poem in my inventory, but he's not... noticing? I talk to him and nothing is taken or given to me. Help please
If you go to the Eastern section, around back of Jorvaskr, you'll find a shop called something like the Happy Homestead. Inside is a merchant named Elam who has the dye. I brought it to Urik, with the book, and told him I have them both. However, the quest says I need to get dye from the bucket, but as soon as I tell Urik I have both the bucket and the book, the bucket is removed from my inventory and I can't find it anywhere! I'm assuming it's supposed to be on the ground for me to use, but it's nowhere to be seen. I even added it back using the console, but still can't use it. Does anybody have any idea how to proceed from here?
Okay, I figured it out! For me, Urik appears outside and directly across from the main gates. However, that's not where he should be. He should be around the corner from the main gate as if you were leaving the city and headed for the main road. It was there that I found my "lost" bucket of blue dye sitting on the ground. I was able to "use" it, then ran back to the cow, "Gertie", who was with Urik, and click on her to paint her. Once I did that, I then had to click on her to have her follow me to the giant chief. Once you get to the giant camp, you'll engage in a conversation with him. You'll have two choices with each part of your side to the conversation. One is a good answer, and the other one is bad. I'm guessing the right answers are in the Ode, but as long as you choose the answer that doesn't involve maiming or eating a mammoth, you'll be fine. In the end, it wasn't such a bad quest after all since you had to figure much of it out yourself. More immersive that way.
Yeah this is an absolutely beautiful mod but my god this quest is driving me nuts with it's horrible design. I mean I hate quest markers but if you aren't going to use them you need to find other ways to allow us to figure things out without having to brute force trial and error around the town for three days. Part of this is Bethesda's fault for dumbing things down so much to the point where none of us even consider doing certain things - such as expecting more dialog options from Ulrik once he gives us the letter. Or assuming we can find the book somewhere at a library or something. Modern Bethesda design would just throw a white triangle on it and be done with it, lol But anyways, I still can't find my damn bucket. Like, is it right by the main gates or way down by the river somewhere? I've searched everywhere close to the main gate and can't see it. Ulrik is down the path from the main gate on the right hand side for me. I'm running madgods overhaul so I'm wondering if there is some sort of conflict with something in there that's causing the bucket to spawn in the wrong place. I mean, it should be right by the cow - it was in my inventory.
When you come off the main road towards Whiterun, you go passed the stable on the right and through the main gate. You then go over a small bridge. If I remember correctly, to the left after this small bridge is where Urik was originally located. This is where I found my bucket after I told Urik I had it and it was removed from my inventory. For me, he is now located across from the main door into the city (the one that causes the game to load the interior city). The cow is with him. I had to run around the wall to where he was originally (by the small bridge), to find the bucket, click on it to use it, and then run back to the cow and click on it to paint it. The only other mods I'm running are JK's Whiterun and JK's Whiterun Outskirts.
Any way to get the quest console command for the Skirmish at Whitewatch Thane quest for me to just finish it? I have the final task in it to report to the steward in Dragonsreach, but the steward in quest lacks the right dialogue.
Now the rest of the NPC's just sits there at the tower with the constant bombardment of catapult ammo that has no Tundra Raider left to kill (even checked the wide area around with detect life spell, only wild animals).
In a previous playthrough all went well and none of the area is affected by other mods.
EDIT: Never mind. Found it in my console command. Self fixed with it.
Can anyone please tell me where I can find Threval's spare key from the quest 'A quiet town'? I have ransacked Threval's house so I'm guessing the key is not inside?
The Ode to Tundrastriders quest is such a poorly implemented quest! What am I even supposed to do? The walkthrough video has been removed! There is no in game help. The quest interaction is on par with Fromslopware Quests with the most dumb things happening in the world. How can I not ask the guy Urik where to buy the blue dye? Why not just write it in the note he gives me? After finding the blue dye and giving it to Urik, I am supposed to get the blue dye from the bucket. Where is this bucket? Why not include quest markers? Any help will be appreciated. Please republish the video guide or post an article with the written quest walkthrough!
