I never played a beast race in Skyrim/TES games and the fact that it triples the time I spend adjusting them to the race-specific head models is the reason I'm not supporting them. However, if you name the race I can make models when I have some spare time.
Again this one also clips with nearly all modded hairs and would benefit from being lowered as this is lovely, a patch for LOTD would be good too as it defaults back to the ugly original when put on display.
Think I found it: my bashed patch was somehow undoing your armature models and reverting them to vanilla.:\ Wonder if there's a way to not make it o that so that I don't have to manually set it again. Edit: Yes! A simple 'Graphics' Bashed tag was needed.:)
For anyone wanting to use Ave's mods and Immersive Jewelry or any mod that would alter and of the same items. I haven't been able to find anyone else to help, so I trial and errored my way to this.
- Get SSEEditQuickAutoClean (TESEdit). - Load it up and select the offending mod. - Find the item id (Usually easy to do. Just type it in to any Skyrim wiki or while in game open the console and type help "item" 4 and DO NOT FORGET the " "'s otherwise who knows how much crap you'll pull up) within the list of items (these items are usually under armor) - Delete it from that mod. That's it. Just highlight and delete. - Save, run Loot, load the game and see what's going on, if it's still not working there is another mod molesting your item, so just repeat the process with your new offender. This should remove the item from that mod and allow Ave's mod to alter the item.
Example: I wanted Ave's Diadem of the Savant. I have Immersive Jewelry. Found the item id for the circlet (000F9904), Loaded TESEdit, selected ImmersiveJewelry.esp, scrolled through armor, found the item and simply hit delete. After that saved (very easy to do, just hit the save option on the drop down menu in the top left) ran Loot and loaded the game. Found out a patch I use for Immersive Jewelry in another mod also messes with it, so I repeated the process with the patch. Loaded the game and now I have Immersive Jewelry working with Ave's Diadem of the Savant.
I haven't run into any issues thus far. Would it be easier for the mod author to just make a compatibility patch? Probably, but they've stated they don't wish to do so. That's their choice. Leave them be. Now you can fix it yourself. Just remember you'll most likely have to do it anytime an offending mod updates. It really doesn't take long, so no need for complaining. Hope it helps someone.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Don't wanna nag the creator of this AMAZING mod to make patches for mods they don't use themselves. But I cannot stand the horrible Diadem in Immersive Jewelry, even though so much else in that mod is must-have. Gonna try this method, see if I can figure it out.

unfortunately it did not appear on the additem menu for me coz i did not realize this is not compatible with immersive jewelry...
it would be great if mod Ave could make a compatibility patch for both..
cheers.
But sadly my hair cover the circlets. D:
