I haven't tested it, but from a cursory search in tes5edit it seems to call the same mesh as the vanilla helmet. The miscellaneous file I uploaded is a vanilla mesh replacer.
I don't suppose you would be willing to make the rest of the morrowind armor would ya? Would LOVE to see THAT in Skyrim SE ^^. LOVE the helmet, though probably gonna use it on my Timelost Dwemer guy next playthrough :P
Would you consider backporting it to Legendary Edition for stubborn stragglers like me ? I missed the goofy aesthetic of the Morrowind Dwarven armor and don't much care for Skyrim Dwemer stuff in general, this looks really neat.
Maybe, kind of. From what I've found the ESP has to be made from scratch to be converted to LE safely and I find making all the armoraddon forms for each race variant almost soul crushing -- I'm not really keen on doing it again. Instead I've been working on some armor to go with the helmet. It's not close to being finished yet, but it's closer than it was like a week ago, so when that's ready to be added to the game I'll probably just make it with the LE Creation Kit and include one of the helmets, which would then be very low effort to convert to SSE.
Hello my friend and thanks for this awesome mod, my Dwemer armor looks more better now thanks for your helmets, just one thing. can you be more précise about the hood emplacement in Mzulft, i serached every corner of it's 3, levels and found nothing yet.
Sorry the location in the description wasn't very precise. In the middle of the first area is a cave section, shortly after that is an adept locked door. It's on a shelf behind that door.
Is there any chance you can make another version and hand-place it inside of a dwemer ruin or two near morrowind border? Would like to download this but looking for something that will get put into the game.
I was thinking of adding the helmet and have a small quest lead to the location after I did a few other things, but that would be some while off. In the mean time I'll place some in an optional esp soon.
If you type " help dwemer" something like in the image should appear.
The numbers in the red box are the codes, although yours will be different based on your load order. The first two digits are the mod's index in the load order. If listings with the ARMO type aren't appearing right away maybe you have lots of dwemer mods installed or something, in which case you should use the Page Up and Page Down keys to scrolls through the console.
then use "player.additem XXXXXXXX 1" to add the item to your inventory. It may not be the easiest thing, but its good to know these things even as a mod user. I knew this stuff before I delved into any mod making and I remember at first I could never remember any of the commands so I usually opened up one of the wiki''s with the console commands haha.
