I don't know what keeps me coming back to this mod. It's nothing grandiose, but it has an amazing flair to it. I dug into countless pages of player homes in the past year, but, somehow, I think this one is my favourite. I just like the monolithical aspect of the whole thing. It righteously gives the Nord aesthetic a mystical feeling which, lore wise, fits them perfectly. Making a player home is something, but translating some of the cooler concept arts into assets is some of the things I like the most about the modding community. Mixing one part Bethesda and one part author creativity: we get this. Out of all the homes out there, my favourite player home is made of vanilla assets. I never would've thought.
Why can't my followers enter inside the cells? I tried placing the mods at the bottom of my load order and they can't enter. I can't figure out what could mess with the navmeshes.
I think this wonderful home, need a bit immersion :) For example this place must be a Outcast from the college Druid Arch-mage Home, If player can kill the enemy boss from hardy boss battle, Player earn the right claim Seidr's Rest a new home :)
I absolutely love these player homes you've made, could I get your permission to port this and Sami Hut to Ps4/Ps5? I work with JKRojmal, ClefJ, Ryn2g and MannyGT among others at the moment and won't likely need any extra support after the fact. Let me know, hope to hear from you :)
The lighting made it hard to find the tanning rack (there might or might not be another lighting mod adding extra shadows) but I like the house's overall design. Going to use it for my next Nord dragonborn playthrough.
I just wanted to let you know that this house is really appreciated.

Actually I've been frantically searching for it since the past two days lol I had a mishap with my SE instalation last May and somehow some of my mods disappeared into the Void (joined our Dread Father I guess). Anyway, I went through all 116 pages of the Nexus real estate to try and find this. I can only guess I need glasses because i couldn't for the life of me see this file. I knew what kind of home it was and the location of the abode, but i had forgotten the name of the mod and the mod maker as well. In a mild stroke of genius (I'm going to blame the unseasonable hot weather in winter we've been having around here) I finally remember to check my download history and found it!
If you don't mind I would like to tell you how I've been role playing around this house. My Nord lost her father when he spoke up in favour of the Argonians in Windhelm, and was killed while in prison. My Nord has sworn revenge on Ulfric and is gathering power to take him down. This house plays a part in the story as it has graves outside, and they all belong to my character's family, this was their barrow.
So thank you so much for this gem, and sorry for the length of text. i'll hide it so it won't bother people.
Hey there! I absolutely love this mod. It's the perfect home for my Nord witch of the Old Ways. It's isolated enough to make sense for a character who is wary of modern Nord society, but close enough to Whiterun so she can go into town and sell her potions and eventually get drawn into the game.
And it has a lot of great synergy with other mods. It's close enough to Labyrinthian that a quick pilgrimage to Bromjunaar Sanctuary will make you a follower of the Old Ways in the Wintersun mod. I also play with the Spellforge mod, which pairs perfectly with Seidr's Rest. You can conjure that mod's spellforge right in the home's central firepit and imagine you're scrying your spells from the flames instead of bothering with unfeeling college wizards and their abstract tomes.
Just a great job. I hope more of your work gets ported to Xbox!
