So am rather excited with this update, you guys have given me many great ideas & suggestions but the one thing everyone asks for is customers and income. After a bunch of hard work I think I have cracked a decent customer set up.
Main Changes: -Customers & Income: So I've added a bunch of customers that'll come in, spend some time drinking, eating, sleeping & minor chats. As this is the Traveller's Inn and is the perfect place for adventure's to take a break or pit stop on their journeys, so customers are naturely experianced and knowledgeable speaking to them can have some benifits :) Each customer has their own times they'll come and go and unique skills. Small side note, some might be thinking well that is not alot of customers for such a big place, but I set it that way because if your like me you'll have followers or a family there that will fill up the place which will balance out well.
Regarding Income I've added a strongbox in the bar area that'll generate a weekly(10days) income of gold, the amount of gold you earn is based on your level so not to be game breaking, so higher you are the more gold you'll earn. I'll add a section detailing each customer.
Minor Changes: -Added Riverwood to the Fast Travel map -improvements to idle markers to help with customers. -Fixed a few tiny cosmetic holes and gliches around the interior -Changed the starting letter to fit with you just strolling on in and taking over.
Customers:
Olivia is a fierce Breton Markswoman who can train you (stays 12am to 12pm)
Elora is a cunning Imperial Theif who can fence your goods (stays 6pm -12am)
Chemsky is a Breton who has a way with words (stays 12pm-12am)
Masamune is a friendly Redgaurd giant who is unmatched in the art of smithing (stays 12pm to 12am)
Rosalee is genius High Elf in the art of destruction (stays 3pm-12am)
Alianna is gifted in enchanting but what she is, is yet to be known (stays 7am to 12pm)
Della is a talented Dark Elf in Alchemy (stays on the terrace 9am-12am)
Inoashi is a Khajit that is extremely light on their feet (stays 12am - 12pm)
Gul'dan ???????????????? (note dont get on his bad side) (shows up at midnight till Dawn)
If you decide your not happy with how the customers look, try out NPC Appearance Changer Also if you decide you dont want customers stick with version 1.3
Known Issue: Some people reporting that grace sings none stop I'll sort her out next update, quick fixes are talk to her and then she should back off afterwards, concole disable or she is not essential........(Personally havent had this issue)
I've done my best with my current skill set to bring this Inn alive since no one is willing to aid me in the scripting side of things. As always feel free to share your feedback, suggestings & ideas! Please Enjoy! :)
Did anyone else have an issue with this crashing their game when trying to make a new character? Not sure if it was this mod itself as I installed the Buy patch, Traveller's Inn - USSEP patch, High Poly NPCs, and Diziet's Player Home Bath Undressing for SkyrimSE all to complement it. Either way it kept appearing in my crash logs and I stopped crashing when I removed all of them. Seems like a lot of people use this home so it must be on my end... wondering what the problem could be.
Just an idea: Instead of the few custom patrons and all their gamebreaking conflicts with trainers, why not make a patch for the mod "Adventurers and Travellers"? A&T NPCs altready travel from town to town, and they visit inns in cities. So why not make a patch that adds this mod to the list of places they visit?

I have the "You can't wait/sleep while being asked to leave" message within the house. Is there any way to fix it? I'm using version 1.3, without guess, and open the door using the key located in the backpack in front of the house.
Maybe it conflicts with Settling of Squad. I'm using a new profile with minimum mods to test it, if SoS set the inn as a home for the follower, during the night they will ask the player to leave or said, "you're not supposed to be here". The npc's behaviours is a bit weird too, they just stood around the entrance door or the bar's table and did not interact with anything else in the house, like going to sleep, for example. I also notice that all of the bedrooms during the first floor can be used by the player's character for some reason. Does this mean NPC can't use these beds because it was owned by the player? ** This is more of a SoS problem. I see many people have the same problem in SoS comment section
Happy to hear you like it :) I haven't done anything for volume control but I do remember someone in comments talking about and MIGHT of done a mod about volume and music. If that helps.
Thanks for replying. There is a MOD for adding more songs. But nothing about reducing the volume. But as you're the author of this very good MOD, is there a way to adjust it?
Looks nice. Uninstalling now. It's anotehr "home" that lavishes the person with everything and is a vacuous, empty space. But, yes, the interior does look great
It is an Inn, and becomes lively when populated with NPC's - I regularly have 20+ NPCs plus the ones that come with the mod in there. If you are not a heaps of followers housed around the place, it probably isn't for you.
It is a cheat mod simply due to what it provides from the get go as well as unlimited funds...You must have fixated on vacuous and ignored the previous. Must be for you, as it is a not for me.
1) the game economy is broken so badly it is irretrievable anyway - not since I started about 10 years ago have I ever been short of gold for anything I have wanted in game 2) I have used the mod for years, what lavishing/cheating have you found - I haven't actually looked (don't need), and have the teleports etc disabled (removed)
It's rough when you're life is about negating others words instead of reading and considering.
" I has a mod that removes teleportation"...But has no mod for the gold...see? I guess not.
"I haven't looked ,don't need to" and that is why you will be who you are now, forever. So, no, no interest in a back and forth of "Bullet points". I had issues, I said as much. You defended without addressing...even though you had no need to unless white knighting is your thing, and simply said I do not agree...or address the points instead of wrist holding on to 1.
Heh, good luck being you. As someone on the back end, I can promise you "Don't know, don't need to know" is an idiots path.
I'll step out, as you will simply rage, then read where I said rage, reflect, and try to be intelligent...while NEGATING, DEFENDING, an ...still white knighting. Fanboi? I got nbo problem with that. But if you are going to halfass a rebuttle...don't bother in the future.
One thing to look out for - this mod has "features" that creep into heaps of game zones around Tamriel - it has doors opening to different holds, which might not be too bad - but there are literally dozens of navmesh and landscape affecting edits to lots of zones, especially around Riverwood. Had issues around Gerdur's Mill and using the console noted that there was a log with last changed by traveller's Inn.esp - why it was affecting such things for a building closer to Ivarstead than Riverwood is puzzling. If the mod loads late it will overwrite landscape mods etc. Consider making a loading rule in your mod manager to get it to load before such mods. Thinking I might go and edit them all out, and remove the doors as well.
I seem to be having a problem with the weekly income strongbox. I collected the money one time and now there is no option to interact with the strongbox. When I select the strongbox with console commands, it lists it as a Flora not a Container
Yep its just a way around not using scripts as I cant make them well. Flora classification is just a item that respawns a item after x days. hm not too sure why its not working I remember testing it and managed to get cash 3 times. sadly I'm not modding so havent even got CK installed to have a glance. My apologise!

I just wanted to write and say thank you for all the love and support Travel's Inn has gotten over the years! am greatful! <3
I got contacted by Shizof that they made a patch to make the inn purchaseable rather than getting it for free now. Thanks Shizof!
This patch has been added to the Optional section of the Files tab.
Have a good day all! :)

Never had this issue when I played, have you tried without any other mods active?

But is there anyway to change the volume of the ambient music?
