I like what you have done and I too play a more hardcore game than vanilla. I agree in part with removing the armor value, but mostly because 23 seemed too high for something only covering your back. I liked the bandolier option for making the shoulder pad light armor by taking the original and adding more leather to it. 7 armor was no better coverage than boots or bracers making it a good option for using up a body area where optional armor could be worn. I think the same thing could be done with your backpack by adding the option to re-enforce it with metal buckles and leather. With an armor value no more than 10, based on area covered and material used. I'm not sure if this was something you looked at or not, but does it have a warmth and coverage value for frostfall and campfire users ? I hate to bring up all these questions and requests, but I really like the looks of your mod and would like to see as many people use it as possible. It already is a great addition to people using the Bandoliers mod. Thank you

Interested in the mod, but a carry weight max of 100 means I'll never use it, as LOTD's Deano pack has 200. Any chance of a legendary version with higher weight?

It wouldn't be that hard to do, but this is balanced for hardcore play with a 100 max carry weight and bandoliers used with the pack. You have a point, though; few people are as hardcore of players as I am. I'll tinker with the numbers a bit, maybe release something with double the carry weight bonus.

Legendary edition is up. Double buff stats, otherwise unchanged. Let me know if I made any mistakes, but I don't anticipate any new problems.

All I had to do was change a few variables and re-ESL it. And you made a good point - the concept is more widely applicable than my original version allowed for. The amount of work necessary was minor relative to the number of people who would benefit.
