I'm using Dear Diary Dark Mode with warm color text, and a Clear Map of Skyrim with Lazy Roads.

    This mod has no effect.

I'm thinking I might have made a bad selection for run before/after during install, but I just went with the Vortex suggestions.

I may give it another shot later as it would be a great help.

A very usefull mod : map markers and map in Skyrim are a mess, hard for old eyes, so making colours only for the most important is  lowering the problem. It's a pitty there isn't any unique map marker for players home, it would have been so nice to only have a texture file to put in loose file to modify that as *.swf file used is complex to edit.

    Thanks a lot !

Hey zlorenzx! I have been using your mod since beginning of my playthrough. I have one question concerning compatibility. I installed Undiscovered Means Unknown and this mod is supposed to be compatible with yours (has compatibility patch in the fomod), however in my case it breaks objective markers colours on compass. The objective markers are black and white vanila instead of orange on the compass. On the world map they work fine though.

Do you have any idea how could I fix that? Or both your and his mod are just not gonna work together?

    Cheers.

      Hey,
      Glad you're enjoying the mod.
The thing is this mod here has a lot of different combination options which all need to be accounted for when patched with other mods. So it seems that the author of Undiscovered Means Unknown didn't properly include all changes into their installer and files to account for all of these possible combinations.
If you wanted to fix the problem, you would have to edit your current compassmarkerart.swf file if you're using skyhud or hudmenu.gfx if not in the way I did when creating my mod. You'd need to open it up with a program like sothink swf decompiler and recolor all personal/quest/marked location markers in it in green/orange or just the way you like really.

Thank you for responding. I never modified any files in Skyrim and don't think I have enough experience to do it myself. I'm afraid I would break something. But I appreciate the response, maybe it will help someone else in the future.

      Cheers!

Hi mate, your mod looks great, but is there any possibility to turn every "cleared" location to yellow, both in the map and in the compass? Thanks for any response

You've got a good idea there. But I fear, it isn't as simple as changing a few colors for a select few models in this case. The thing is, that cleared dungeons don't have dedicated symbols, that you could just recolor. They use the same ones, just with an extra description text.

What you would need for yellow cleared locations is a scripted mod, that replaces the normal ones with new extra symbols once the location is cleared, which you can then reshape or recolor the way, you would want them to look like; for example yellow.

Maybe there's a possibility to create this function with script extender. I personally don't possess the ability to turn this idea into a mod, but maybe someone does..

Could you tell what program did you use to change colors in those .swf files?

Any possibility of a patch for CoMAP? I absolutely love both mods (especially now that CoMAP is compatible with A LOT) but I'm still left without a patch for this. I've tried doing it myself since all it was supposed to be was recoloring a few of that mod's Marker's then following that mod's guide, but I had no luck with the programs involved and lack of it's source markers.

Great mod, but is there a chance to get a patch for CC Survival Mode? Right now this mod breaks survival UI indicators, which ain't critical but definitely unpleasant.

Why latest version change mana/health/stamina bars to some flat gradient bar?

it reverts to vanilla. You're using an incompatible replacer for these bars. You know, the files my mod edits contain a lot of ui based icons and bars, what makes it quite incompatible with such mods. you could tell me which one you use and I might think about making a patch.

I have the same issue and CC Survival mode effects don't show up on the bars either. Compass works though and remains unchanged is style.

I'm using Dear Diary, immersive HUD, more HUD, move HUD inventory.

Why would the compass not change style when that is what is being edited, when the mana/health/stamina bars change which are not been edited I'm guessing they are connected but if that's so would they not both change or both remain unchanged. I love the mod, just would like my mana/health/stamina bars back how they were.

      Thanks

The compass file for vanilla that you get (interface\exported\hudmenu.gfx) contains additional UI stuff like the health bars as you guessed. It's all inside this one file which is bad for compatibility. So if you have these issues with your health bars and other HUD stuff it's gonna be the file you should delete or hide from my mod. What you will lose are colored compass markers. I suggest you try that because it's likely gonna fix these problems.

Hi! I know it's bit to late to answer. I wish nexus would send some notification that someone replied to comment, instead of million of stuff i don't interested in. But still.
      I don't have any replacers.
      See screenshot

By default my bars look like top one, which i marked "vanilla", and they has always looked that way. I even checked ps3 and xbox 360 versions in internet to check if bars look like this, and yes it is.
But with this mod installed they for some reason begin looking like bottom one.

So it's not reverting it to vanilla, and i don't use any replaces. Markers works ok, even after year, nothing was broken, but for some reason this mod replaces bars, and i like vanilla bars better.
