Nice mod man. But for some reason in my game the male version works fine, the female version only the helmet is replaced the other parts are still vanilla Any idea how to fix that?
Edit: The mesh is in conflict with the CBBE related mod so I have to manually replace the mesh. It is fine now.
Sorry to necro, but how exactly did you go about fixing this? I'm having the same issue and cannot for the life of me figure out where I need to replace the meshes. Replacing everything in the CBBE/meshes/armor/elven/f folder with the Noldor meshes somehow didn't do anything.
hmm it might have been just a regular overwrite conflict with any other mod that would touch the elven armors, try loading this one lower to make sure it overwrites all others (in the manager if manually just do these last etc)
Or perhaps it was solved via the Bodyshape program that comes with CBBE, start that up and modify the armors (from memory it was somewhere near the bottem of the program, big button to do so) selecting the Noldor elven armor models over any other possible options you have installed before batch modifying the whole bunch

man i love the noldor armor and just the elves from tolkeins works overall so much that its almost hard to see it as the outfit for the bad guys. But nonetheless incredible mod bro. Keep up the good work
well.. a thousand your welcomes in reply then I suppose :P. Anyhow, I dunno about the popularity - might just be the armor replacement mods are alrdy a bit saturated perhaps? And still just about shy of 300 downloads in 2 weeks since the upload, wich I thought isnt bad, especially for one of my 1st mods ever.. But perhaps your right and this should have had 3K downloads and on the "Hot mods" frontpage - can keep on dreaming tho :).
Funnily enough, I just downloaded Nordwars Thalmor and Orc armors and was going "man, if only I could change the elven armors to somewhat match them" lo and behold this pops up right as I said it lol. This is perfect.
They match just enough to both be clearly high elven stuff in a more "realistic armors" playthrough yet different enough to see the functional differences.
Right, well I downloaded and installed them for myself as well, so I guess I'll soon find out ingame :D. Hmm 1st Thalmor I encountered near the Jarl in Markarth was still wearing robes.. then again he was named, prolly need to look @ more :P
right ok, on a second look I did notice both the soldiers standing next to him were wearong slighty different armors and the helm just gave it away. They even had some parts of The amazing World of Bikini armor on, giving one of them a chin strap for the helm.
no you do not! The Original/Fixed version only add different colored variations and weapons (bow/sword) - they also have higher resolution textures and even re-textures (fixed offers a slightly lighter/brighter opt). If you prefer an higher resolution then the 1K textures offered here - download and overwrite with those.
