Probably a longshot as this was posted years ago, but is there any chance of a port for your old glass mage armor from oldrim? Or is it something I could in theory do on my end with the creation kit? (Not to post, I just really want to use it on my new battlemage)
Load the mod in SSEEdit and enable the weight sliders for the male and female body under the Armor Addon for the Cuirass from Unknown to Enabled (uncheck Unknown and ONLY check Enabled to re-enable the weight sliders for the armor.) and any other section that needs it of the plugin and it should fix the skinny arms problem.
I also found that the weight sliders were/are Enabled for every other armor piece, just not the Cuirass which would likely increase the arm size when the weight sliders are actually re-enabled. So just check the entire mod, not under the temper recipes but the Addon section and simply re-enable all sliders that are under the term Unknown. Remember to NOT leave both boxes check marked as this won't fix the problem.
Doing this won't solve the skinny arms problem. The issue is it lacks a mesh for the large body. It has only the mesh for the lowest weight slider setting (the _0.nif file). It needs a _1.nif file as well for the "buff" weight). This is true for all the pieces, and this armor completely lacks meshes for the "buff" weight (whether that's intentional on the part of the original author or not, I don't know).
It's the reason I otherwise completely ignore this armor (sadly, as it is otherwise beautiful work).
There is conflict with NordWarUA's Vanilla Armor Replacers SSE in gloves and boots models cause both mods are using same base models (i'm not a mod developer, sorry). If Ebony Mage Armor lower in load order, it replaces ebony gloves model from NWUA VAR. Still boots model of ebony armor and ebony mage armor always replaces by model from the last one.
