I haven't used the synthesis patcher yet, but it does seem to do the same thing. I assume it doesn't automatically patch armor filepaths when it comes to armor replacers
I've just used the Synthesis patcher, and it seems solid! But.. the patcher doesn't accurately assign the right sounds to the appropriate armors at all. Ex: the light dodge footstep set is added onto heavy armor, or vice versa. The patcher also seems to prioritize whatever mod is last in your load order (when it comes to armors), so if you let TUDM's ESP load before your armor replacers, the synthesis patcher should use the new file paths of the armor replacers AND add TUDMs sounds.
Basically, do what's highlighted above if you do not wanted to bother with my (or any) armor-replacer patches for TUDM, but still use the misc patches (Immersive Sounds, CGO, and VioLens) if you use those mods.
I would just like to post here about my experience if anyone else who's having any issues and maybe this was already said but I didn't catch it so for reiteration (and some back story). I posted asking for help on the discord linked on the description page, and mo_shark (most likely also Melsharka) helped me figure out why I couldn't get CGO and TUDM working together, specifically the Step Dodging part. I had to go to the CGO MCM and in the Dodge Roll tab I had to put the input type to Hotkey (tap) and the Hotkey as Esc (Escape). Then in the TUDM MCM, Player Tab I set the sneak keybind as "C", the Sneak keybind in Skyrim's controls is set to LALT (as per my preferences) and for me it all works perfectly. And just wanna say thanks again mo_shark for your help on discord couldn't of figured it out without you.
TL:DR In CGO MCM set Dodge roll input type to Hotkey (Tap) and the Hotkey as ESC (Escape), Then In TUDM MCM, under player settings set Sneak key as something other then what your Skyrim controls has it set as.
But I think I have a problem... I installed the Violens Patch, but for some reason, only two-handed weapons trigger killemoves, while one-handed weapons don't. They trigger very rarely, unlike two handed which work 100% of the time. Of course, this did not happen before installing TUDM. I appreciate any help! I'm also sorry for my English and my grammar!
Edit: Messing with TES5EDIT, it seems that the problems lies in Idle Animation - VL_KillmovesFrontRoot.
There's conflict with NonMountedCombatRightPower [IDLE:01000991] with Dawnguard.esm and Ultimate Dodge Mod.esp
I tried fixing it copying the values of NonMountedCombatRightPower [IDLE:01000991] to VL_KillmovesRoot [IDLE:122B7364] in both VioLens.esp and the patch. In game it seems to work, but also disables the player killmove inmunity. I dont have the knowledge to fix this. If someone knows, please i aprecciate the help!
Edit 2: Nvm, the problems lies entirely in VioLens... I realized that after uninstalling TUDM and every patch related to it... I guess i have to find an alternative to VioLens :(
Nevertheless this is a very good patch collection!
TUDM behaves strangely when paired with Attack Behavior Revamp. When the mod is installed, ABR's left hand attacks end up performing a sneaking attack instead, which is a little weird. Is this something you can replicate, or is there something else going wrong with my load order? And if you can, is this something you can patch?
I would assume that's a conflict with the animations. In that case, that problem is out of my league. Are you using the patreon version of ABR or the one uploaded onto the Nexus?
Use the patreon version then. It’s worked fine for me, and is far more updated than the nexus version. It’s unfortunate that he doesn’t upload it onto the nexus though
