This was an excellent addition to Arcwind Point. I loved pretty much everything about it!
I don't know if this belongs in bug reporting, but I did want to mention a pretty niche issue: I am running Ordinator, and took the Vancian Magic perk. In short, this perk limits your character to 20 spells in total. I ran completely out of spells halfway through. When I got to a specific part of the dungeon (avoiding spoilers!), I could not progress and after about an hour of trying different things, I decided I was softlocked, because I couldn't go back, either.
Still, despite my lack of spellcasting ability resulting in the above issue, I had an absolute blast with it. Never got to see the inside of the "boss" door, but the journey was well worth it! Keeping it in my load order for the next playthrough!
What a fun dungeon! I have over 500 mods and this ran as smooth as pie. The atmosphere, skulls and different chambers are all very inventive. Thank you!
One of the best Nordic ruins dungeons ever played, very carefully "cluttered", great lighting, atmosphere, surprising, with great openings and little hidden gems to discover. Very cool the combat I experienced in the 2 big rooms with multiple enemies also, right rooms to make epic battle, a bit less epic the final boss, the summon way is cool but too easy (but I think it's my load order, I can't fix the fact I have always normal mobs harder than final bosses...in any dungeon I play, very few exceptions, gotta remember to set up the difficulty before final bosses :') )
Could not find the switch to the portcullis after searching for it for 15 minutes IRT. Gave up and left. Whatever loot you put in there could stay there. It is so hard to just put it next to the door?
If you’re talking about the small room full of vegetation after the bossfight…
…The pullchain is located next to the broken stone chair on the right hand side at the wall. The part of the wall is set back a little so the pullchain is actually hard to find. 😜
So I don't know if this is a bug or if I'm just missing something, but I cannot get the iron door to open after the boss fight at the very bottom. I can't even get to the portcullis that everyone seemed to have trouble finding. Am I missing something or is it something else? I've tried 4 times so far, and the door has opened (partially) once, but I couldn't go through it.
What iron door are you talking about? If with "boss fight" you mean fighting against draugr, you missed something... Otherwise I'll need a bit more information in order to find the issue together with you.
How do I get through the door with a frozen chunk? seems like an invisibile wall is blocking it. I guess it has something to do with activating the frozen chunk but I do not know the specifics/
Hi, this may be helpful as I saw a few of these references in your mod. "TrapRune(____)Projectile" should only be applied to objects. while "Rune(___)Projectile are the floor traps. It can lead to invisible rune trap bug if the wrong one is used
Good to know... Where exactly did you find a rune though, I don't have it in mind right now. The only one I can think of is just part of an effect that doesn't really matter, so maybe that was a reason? I'm not into it any more as deeply so I don't really know at the moment. XD
Hello! I have just tried this dungeon (on the Xbox) and I simply loved it! Very nice design, good fights, good puzzles (although I must also admit that I had to come here and read the posts to know how to open the last door, however after I find how to, I thought how didn't I see this :)). Neither I or my follower had any issues: however, I noticed that we can cross a wall and go to somewhere that seems outside but is surrounded by a blue void (and we can still look through inside the dungeon), being that wall in a top platform of the big "pit" with ramps and stairs on the walls, if I remember correctly, but that is not important. I waited 30 days in game to check if the dungeon respawn, and fortunately yes for the most, however the skeletons that are sited around the big dining table on the first visit (and readily "jump" effusively towards the player :) ) were not there (is this intentional or we have to wait more days), and the draugr that are lining inside their vertical tombs and are supposed to come out after the cover falls, were indeed there but the covers were already (or still) on the floor. As for the darkness, it was not a problem, I also have the Solstheim Dungeon Pack on my load order, and man, their dungeons are truly, truly dark, so compared to these your dungeon is a shiny sunny day :). And speaking in load order, this dungeon of yours will (unless I end noticing some big issue) remain permanently in mine. Congratulations, very professional work you made! Cheers (and sorry for my English, it's not my first language)
Oh, hello! And thank you very much for your detailed feedback! That's greatly appreciated - as well as the fact that you really liked it... :) I'll look into your wall issue some day. However, it is indeed intended to have the scripted skeleton encounter only once during gameplay. (As well as the boss fight? You didn't mention that. What happened to it?) On second and any following visits, the dungeon should turn into a more standard radiant dungeon in vanilla style. Thanks again for your appreciation! Greetings, Neldor
Hello! The boss fight was nice, it took my a couple of minutes to realize how to wake him up :) Yes, I understand that it makes sense to occur only once in the game play, but it would be much more satisfying if both the skeleton encounter and the boss fight occurred every visit. In subsequent visits all went well as expected! Cheers
Just want to say loved this dungeon and the end fight, through I had to come and read the forums for that last portcullis opening. Totally missed it :) I've also missed a couple of other things from reading the forums like the flooded passage and not sure how to get the location above the Wordwall outside at Arcwind Point.
Loved the stairwell location felt a bit like Moria from LotR.
Great mod will be trying some of your others when I do a new playthrough.
Much appreciated! <3 To find the way up to to the overlook you can use your local map. There is a rubble pile which seems to block your way to the right, but it really doesn't and you will find your way up if you walk past it... ;)
looks like this is one of those undiscovered gems! like blackthorn a buildable town and some others. just discovered i have been playing two others of yours raven and prospector!! prospector is wow smooth open so you know something is going to happen you just dont know what first time threw you have a tension that is just building and waiting ! in this one you get ambushed.

Very pleased you like them, and be sure there will be more to come... ;)
