The structure of the 7z file is confirm with MO2, Vortex or whatever installer you use. Manually: Place the BodyBuild.xlsm where ever you want (C:\, your moms PC, ....) As long as the fields in the file are entered correctly, the BodySlide files will be created.
I have not got to the point of trying to figure out how to install this. I'm actually still trying to figure out what the mod does, but it is hurting my brain too much. A specific example of using the process would be great.
Update: The pictures helped. I think what is happening is you are making a customizable nude body for a follower. That is very useful since you can then build that follower's body to any preset you have installed on your machine. If a play-through back-story calls for a rail thin starved follower, or highly muscular follower or a fat one, you can build the nude body and any outfits that follower uses to fit the story. Very nice. I would not begin to know how to set this up, or how it would get into followers' folders and whether that would mess up follower mods, but at least I now sort of understand what it does. I would have to get one of these office programs. I'm not sure how that would work.Good idea though. I wish all followers came with a custom body entry in both the outfits and the presets sections of bodyslide like Shamie does, but that's not happening. Shamie's code is top notch.
A late reply but, yes that's what this does. To answer "I have not got to the point of trying to figure out how to install this", no install needed. All paths are 'hard coded' by entering the correct ones in step 1.
Finding the path to the bodies is 'easy'!? Hit "Preview file contents" of the downloaded file and find "femalebody.nif". In Shamies example it will be this folder: "meshes\angel\shamie". And that's the one we put in the excel file as "Outputfolder for body" (step 3)
Not your question, but I'll put it here anyway, Weights: Well it's 0 or 100, mostly 100. If there is a 'neckgap', it's the other one ;)
Can we use Open Office, by Apache Foundation? It is free.
Meanwhile, thanks for this app. I am befuddled by bodyslide, it doesn't communicate very well, though I can't complain since the main problem is the enormous number of body options, and my own fear of irreversibly deforming people NPC's.
Hehe, the version I gave you initially, was to complicated. With this one, the creation of your gorgeous followers is just a couple of clicks away (For the body part, that is)
