Version 2.0 (ESPFE) available! I've decided to convert all my mods to ESPFE (ESL-flagged ESP) versions wherever possible. This means these mods will no longer take up a slot in your load order. Please follow the instructions below if you wish to update during a running game. If you're starting a new game, just install and enjoy.
I've also decided to only offer BSA versions from now on. If you need or want a version with loose files, download the Bethesda Archive Extractor and just extract the files from the BSA.
To update during a running game:
While in the game, create a Full Save (Not a Quick Save).
Quit your game to desktop.
Disable the old version of Cicera - OregonPete's Female Cicero Makeover in your mod manager.
Restart your game.
The game will tell you that the Cicera - OPs Female Cicero Makeover.esp is missing and ask if you wish to continue. Just hit Enter (should automatically be on Yes).
Create another Full Save (NOT a Quick Save).
Quit the game to desktop.
Enable the new version of Cicera - OregonPete's Female Cicero Makeover.
of the 3ish cicera mods, gotta say this is my favorite. Her design has that slight animeish charm without being immersion breaking when you prefer the vanilla+ style. only issue I have is the fact she doesnt have her hat, but its understandable since I dont think it'd work with how her pigtails are positioned
I've been trying to use this for the newer version of female Cicero (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/35381) but I keep getting a blackface bug, any advice on how to make it work? Or an update maybe? The voice in that version is a massive improvement.
Yes, I'm afraid that will never work, because you're trying to intertwine two things that just aren't compatible. What you can try to do is just copy over the sound files from the CiceReal mod. Unless they completely changed the dialogue, that should work.
I could check if the face discoloration fix mod fixes her. if not then yeah, I'd go with just switching the voices. edit: yeah, this mod seems to fix it. if there's any other issues that appear, I've yet to see them.
I wonder if someone can make this version of Cicera into a standalone follower.
In short... port the original Cicera and drop this preset ontop of it. YuiH Standalone Follower - Ciceria (Renewal) ...and add the voices as well so she reacts to the same things as usual.
That way I can have both Cicero and Cicera at the same time.
I'm sure it would be easy enough to just patch my Cicera on top of YuiH's Ciceria. If YuiH has custom voiced dialog for their follower, that should work too. Mine is just a visual makeover. Has anyone done an SSE conversion of the Ciceria mod yet?
Thanks, dylvish. I'm getting ready to upload a Female Cicero Dialog Edit, which would make everyone refer to her as a "she" instead of a "he". I'm still in the testing phase, but I think I have most of the bugs out. That means you'll be able to use her and not break immersion (except where my vanilla edits didn't find the right samples and made the dialog sound a bit strange). Keep an eye out for it.
Soooo,,,,,I'm imagining seeing this while hearing Cicero's male voice. Thats...a little bit odd. Now if there was a female voice remake of this to go along with it, that would make sense. EDIT: I read a bit more and realized the mod this has as a requirement has a female voice replacer in it, so there goes my argument.
That would be really strange if the female Cicera had a male voice. Personally, I don't like her voice so much, but that's a matter of taste, and you get used to it.
What would be even better, though, is if someone would go in and fix all the dialogs (including audio files) where everyone refers to Cicera as a "Him".
That's a total REMAKE of the original Female Cicero's voice. Miles better than the original... Yes, it will work on SSE since all that file contains are voice files.
Thanks, ff7legend. Not sure if you realized this, but those are the voice files already included in the SSE version. But I still find her voice a bit grating. LOL
EDIT: Huh! Okay, maybe not. It's possible I've always been using those voice files, because I create a patch with them for myself that I always use when I play. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Maybe I need to listen to the original at some point.
I realized my Flower Girls Female Cicero patch didn't include the FG patch as master, so I added it. Meaning both Flower Girls and the FG Female Cicero patch are required if you want to use my patch.
This first version has the KS Hairdo style "Parody" already integrated, so KS Hairdos isn't a requirement.
The Flower Girls voice patch, on the other hand, is a different matter. Flower Girls already has a voice patch for the Cicero Female SE mod which includes new dialog options. But since they patch the ESP, if you use it without my patch, it will overwrite my new Cicera look. For this reason, my patch consists only of the ESP with the necessary patches. Both Flower Girls SE and the FG Cicero patch are required.

Edit: Got it somewhat working but I'm still getting the original dialogue sounds from Female Cicero SE. Any help would be great.
