The HDT-SMP physics options may show duplicate hair. Choose a no-physics option until a fix is found. If anyone has any ideas of what is causing it, DM me.
I tested this with CBBE-Curvy. If your body version has horrible clipping at the bottom of the hood, upload SFW pics with her wearing Vampire Royal Armor - her default attire.
If you have major glitches with Serana and this mod:
1. What options did you choose when installing this mod?
2. What options did you choose when installing Serana Re-Imagined? Is it installed?
3. Does this mod overwrite Serana Re-Imagined? It must.
4. Are you using a mod manager like Vortex with conflict rules to make this overwrite Serana Re-Im.? Do it.
5. What other mods are you using that change Serana's appearance? That's dangerous and untested.
Post a screenshot or video of what you're seeing. It can be unlisted on Youtube for example. Post a link here or DM.
Since her esp already has data as '0Seranaskinnaked ~' in her 'armor' and 'armor addon' section which can be a base of her standalone body, you can just rewrite some part to make it refer to that instead of '0Seranadefault~'. It requires only SSEedit. No CK.
1. Make a folder named 'New Serana Body' directly under 'mesh'. 2. Change 'Worn armor' description of 'Non-player character', of course serana, to the armor '0seranaskinnaked' editor ID. It will refer to what's put in the folder of New Serana Body. 3. (optional) If you want to use SMP version of her hair, it's more certain to rewrite the reference of '0seranadefault~' of her armor addon section. If you know what you're doing at 1 and 2, you know what I mean.
You can put the body mesh data in the folder '1', have her be however you like.
I'd like to tell big thanks to this mod author, she is the most beautiful replacer of serana. Not too fictional, adorably charming.
Thank you so much for your continued work on the module. But if the latest version is available, can you add FSMP hair to serana? I'm sure that might address a number of needs.
Heya! I encounted a rather strange occurence with this mod today in my load order regarding duplicate desirae hair with the black SMP version. At some point in my new playthrough I noticed the duplicate hair, and I could swear that there was no duplicate hair prior (or maybe I just did not notice, it being black afterall). I was on Serana RI v2, and glowing eyes for serana v1.2 and an ancient v1.5 version of this mod.
I tried to recitify (spoiler: did not succeed) and noticed some things below, maybe it will help some others out:
1. I updated to the 2.0b version and loaded it after the other 2 mods, I would get the SMP hair working but the duplicate hair persisted. If I loaded it after Serana Re-Imagined and before glowing eyes, I would not get the SMP hair.
2. I then tried the 2.0a version, as suggested on the main mod page stating the duplicate hair has been fixed, and this time loading it after both Re-Imagined and glowing eyes. Interestingly, this time it worked, but the hair color was red instead of black.
3. I tried the other 2 colours for v2.0a as well, thinking that perhaps there was a mismatch/wrong upload, but the other 2 colors had the right hair so I went back to 2.0b. I tried disabling glowing eyes and got back the SMP hair, but the duplicate hair was there too. I also tried changing the skin from the presert vampire to less pale, but it did not affect the results.
It could just be something odd with my load order, but i've checked to be sure and managed the rules correctly afaik on vortex, it's odd 2.0a worked (albeit the wrong color) but 2.0b did not. Not sure what went wrong here
In the end to get the SMP hair working I decided to give serana the SMP desirae wig instead for the time being as a stopgap solution
Hey there! I'm having some troubles with the hood. I was putzing around with my mods today and long story short, Serana doesn't feel like wearing the hood anymore.
I have SRE loaded before Hood Plus Hair using no physics, UNP body. When I don't use the hood plus hair mod, she's bald and we don't want that. For some reason, she won't put on the hood during the day now. This is a small price to pay for her to have the hair, but I'm wondering if there's a fix.

I know she's wearing a circlet in the video, but I've tried taking it off and she still won't wear the hood.
Eyes revisited go last :). So, SRI>HPH>SRI Eyes RV. That load order works for me!
EDIT: In case you wanna get the HPH-HDT version working with Eyes Re-Vissited mod, all you have to do is: Download Eyes Re-Visited, install it, and using Outfitstudio open up the Facegeom file of the mod named 00002B6C. Select the SeranaEyesHumanVampireNord part, right click and select properties. Click on the textures button and copy the different texture paths shown. Next up, replace the "Meshes" folder of Eyes Re-Visited with the meshes folder of SRI HPH-HDT. Ensure both HPH-HDT and SRI EyesRevisited folders have the same "Meshes" folder. Lastly, open the new facegeom file you copied from SRI HDT with Outfitstudio. Select the SeranaEyesHumanVampireNord part and, following the same procedure you did to find the texture paths, select and replace the texture paths with the ones you got from the original Facegeom file of this mod. Export as a NIF using the same name (00002B6C) and replace the old version with the one you just exported. That should do the trick! PS: I'm using SRI HPH Version 2.0a as the author indicated that version solved the dreaded double hair bug. If you are having trouble with her having black hair, simply open up XEdit, select the Serana Reimagined mod, navigate to Non-Player character actor in the left pane, look for "HCLF - Hair color" and make sure both values are "HairColor12BlackTrue"Black". Cheers!
Here is a guide on how to fix the double hair guide: First, you want to download body slide and outfit for mesh customization on nexus. Then, navigate through your game files to Steam/Steamapps/Common/SkyrimSE/Data/Meshes/Actors/Character/FacegenData/Facegeom/Dawnguard.esm There you want to open the 00002B6C file using the outfit tool found in SkyrimSE/Data/Caliente Tools Once you open it, select the three hair meshes one by one. And Set Alpha to 0, as well as the Threshold for transparency. Once you have done this for all 3, and saved them, you should see bold Serana mesh on your screen. After that export the file as .NIF and replace the 00002B6C file with it. Deploy mods again just in case and go to game.
Hey there mate, Version 2.0a works fine, I'm certain of it. You have to fish it out in the old files section. It does show up as red hair, though, in case you wanna get the black hair version of the mod. There's a simple workaround for it. Open up XEdit, select the Serana Reimagined mod, navigate to Non-Player character actor in the left pane, look for "HCLF - Hair color" in the main panel and make sure both values are "HairColor12BlackTrue"Black". That should do the trick :) Cheers!
I'm heartbroken to report that the double hair bug persists in version 2.0 - Black hair :(. Any workaround for this lingering issue? Just to be clear, I'm using (or trying to, at least) the HDT-SMP version. The bug occurs when she's not wearing the hood. When she is the mod works fine.
EDIT: Just checked and the same thing happens with both red colour alternatives :(
SECOND EDIT: After snooping around I realized that the HDT version that works is 2.0a, as listed in the bugs tab of the mod. It can be found in the "old files" section. All versions show up as red hair, though. But in case you wanna get the black hair version of the mod, there's a simple workaround for it. Open up XEdit, select the Serana Reimagined mod, navigate to Non-Player character actor in the left pane, look for "HCLF - Hair color" in the main panel and make sure both values are "HairColor12BlackTrue"Black". actually this mod gave major fps drop before but got a new pc recently and works fine :))
