Awesome! I can't say how much I like your mod! I'm in the process of doing a PC build that I call The Hobbit and I hope you don't mind if I incorporate your Sword, "Hadafang" in it somehow? Eventually, I hope to post a YT vid on the build when it's finally finished. In the meantime, I'll get some extra enjoyment out of playing and adventuring Skyrim with it.
t's a beautiful sword! I'm using it really well. But there are two sheaths in the character in the picture you posted. There's only one sheath on my character's back. I'm already using Ecotone Dual Sheath mod. How can I fix it? Thank you for the good mode.
Did you create a new dual sheath plug in after installing in xEdit? you will need to select all files in SSEedit and run the script for creating a dual sheath patch after installing this mod for it to work. the needed files are already included in the download.
'You will need to select all files in SSeedit' is understandable. But I don't understand run the script.
After downloading the Ecotone Dual Sheath psp patch file, paste it inside the SSEedit folder. Should I put the left file in the Meshes folder in this mode into the Ecotone Dual Sheath folder? Then, should I click 'apply script' in SSEedit and select add into container in script?
I'm frustrated that you already gave me the file but I couldn't patch it.
The script I am talking about is something that was created for SSE and Ecotone dual sheath. it works for any mod that includes the needed files (like this mod).

Awesome! Tauriels bow has to be one of my favorite bow models that I made. My current character is carrying it along with Orcrist, Orcish arrows and Raven shield. man I love the wood grain.
Gorgeous blade, though I wonder if it might be possible to add a second version with a simple "D" type guard, which would turn it into a cutlass, or short saber, suitable for a pirate or noble? It has very elegant lines, that I think a properly angled guard would only enhance. I know this isn't the LotR aesthetic exactly, but would be nice addition, nonetheless. Certainly, if I were given the choice between actually using the two blades, I'd want the option with the better hand protection, even if were were just mildly so.
Your rendition actually looks rather better than the one in the artwork, and I was by no means suggesting you alter your original sword in the least, just add a second version with the guard. I'm not savvy in the ways of .nif wizardry, but for such a simple stirrup type guard, I wouldn't think a whole lot would be required. I'd also venture the angle of the hilt creates a very pleasing geometry for the guard, so rather than a straight "D" it would be more angled back in line with the natural curve of the weapon. Call it an "Elven cavalry sword." You could either match the gold texture of the rest of the sword, or go for a mithril texture.
This was generally the sort of arrangement I was meaning,
?Another possibility would be ignoring the shell part of the shell guard and going with this type of design which doesn't even need to be connected to the pommel.
I might do a handguard Calvary sword in the future. I don’t know. This model however is based on concept art from a movie which didn’t include a guard so it won’t get one.
If it’s something you would like to do for yourself you have my permission to use this model as your base with credit given for its original creation have fun modding nico
Hey great job, nicely done! I have one small request if possible. Could you make the overall proportions a bit larger so as to make a better match with Aragon's Dagger. If you compare the two in a duel wielding Hadhafang looks disproportionately small in comparison. Beyond that a beautiful blade, and the scabbard makes it even nicer. Endorsed.
Herein lies the issue with the OP request. Some will want Hadhafang larger and some Aragorn's dagger smaller. No matter which I do it is impossible for me to please everyone.
So..... I am going to write a little tutorial here so people can change the size of any model in Skyrim to a size they personally like :).
Changing scale on a .nif __________________________
Get the latest version of NifSkope. It's free and on sourceforge. Open the .nif of the item you wish to change. This will be located at Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim Special Edition/Data/meshes/weapons/(name of item). In the right window click on the model of the blade handle (it will light up green with the mesh) In the block list a BSTrishape line will light up blue. That's the one you want. Right click on that BSTriShape and choose Transform then Edit. This will open another window. At the bottom on the left you will see Scale with a number below it. For Hadhafang it's 0.9000. That represents 100% of the size it currently is in game. Want it roughly 10% larger? make that number 1.000. Change that number to whatever you want, and see the size difference in the right window. Click accept at the bottom of that window when it's a size you like. Repeat this for Edgeblood, Edgeblood_1, and Scb.
*Important notes*: Edgeblood(s) should be .0015 larger than your base model scale so that they appear on the blade, and not in it. Example: If the scale of BSTriShape of Hadhafang:0 is 1.000 then BSTriShapes edgeblood, and edgeblood_1 should be scaled to 1.0015.
The 1stPerson model is exactly the same as the regular one. When you save your modified file save it to both file names.
Ecotone dual sheath Left, and Sheath models have some different values to work with Ecotone dual sheath. Just modifiy their scale the same as you did the base .nif so they all have the same scale you chose.
Click File/ save as (Example) Hadhafang.nif. Click File/save as 1stPersonHadhafang.nif. Ecotone dual sheath files for HadhafangLeft.nif, and HadhafangSheath.nif should be scale modified to match what you did on Hadhafang.nif, and saved individually Done :)
You can now change the size of anything in game. Have fun modding Nico
[EDIT] I tend to agree with steelfiredragon on this one. So I have released files for Aragorn's Dagger at 80% of v1.1 size. The tutorial will stay here for anyone who wishes to do it themselves or tweak it further.

Hey! I really thought that this sword was awesome and I liked how it was able to be found somewhere in the world rather than it just being added to my inventory. I posted a video of it on my YouTube channel if you would want to check it out. Thank you!
Love the video <3 This right here is the most awesome thing someone can do for me. You took your time to made a video showcasing my mod. That gives me the warm fuzzies. Knowing that someone enjoys what I have shared is worth more to me than kudos, download count, endorsements or donations.
Please if you like what I have shared post pictures of your characters using them. You made my day :) [EDIT] I posted your video to the download page. Thank you
I saw someone say this matched Mirkwood, but I see the red that you put in the Rivendell bow. Oh so pretty, gonna love my new sword. I am currently touring Bruma, so I am going to have to craft this one. Have to see if I use this more than your Icing blade. Love it Nico thank you.
Yep, I said it matches Mirkwood. I used the exact same wood, metal and leaf patterns for both. should go well with Rivendell or the red/ gold Aragorns dagger also but will be a slightly different shade of red. enjoy
