Because with some body presets out there the amulet might get inside the body or only half of it appears. And with bodyslide it will appear perfectly with your character body preset or size or whatever. And this is not new, it has been like that since Skyrim LE came out and ouftit modding started rolling
I've never seen it on a necklace lmao. I would assume, then, that bodyslide is not required if you don't use body presets? Makes sense, still a little odd for a necklace of all things to require bodyslide.
Actually just can't read apparently, says it will not work without one of the optional bodyslide files. In which case this mod is not compatible with "vanilla" skyrim? I guess a formal request for a bodyslide free version? Lol It's a shame, really nice looking model but I'm not downloading cbbe just to use it. :)
Instead of the vanilla amulet models, which are floating somewhere in the air, my models are very close to the body. Because of this, a slightly different body shape will cause clippings. I provide my mods as I use them myself, unfortunately, there will always be somebody who does use a body I'm not supporting. If I would agree to create versions for everybody who asks for a version of a 'not-supported' body, I'll end up creating the same item over and over again. Bodyslide is imo the best solution here because you can generate versions for every possible body shape, even if you don't use cbbe or uunp.
I apologize if this is a dumb question but my single braincell can't figure it out. Must I use Bodyslide to generate the model also when I'm using the original Skyrim bodies? No modded body shapes whatsoever, just plain vanilla.
Late reply but I'm just checking out Ave's jewelry mods now and unfortunately no, he doesn't provide any pre-made meshes for vanilla bodies, so yes you have to run OS to make the female meshes. You can use the SOS option for the vanilla male meshes as it doesn't require BS.
I LOVE the creativity that went into this! And I love the finished product! It always bugged me that the Gauldur and Saarthal amulet were the same. Would I be able to commission you to create a replacer for the Bond of Matrimony so that it doesn't look like every other plain gold ring in the game?
Glad you like it. You may want to check my Gauldur Amulet in Forbidden Legends? as well. I already replaced the Bond of Matrimony (with plenty of options to customize them) which you'll find here.
Very Unique and a welcome addition to the collection
One question, are you going to do the other two pieces to match, and have you thought about how they combine into a single amulet? If you could make all three pieces combine into a Celtic knot, Well now that would be something. I'm just mentioning because this particular amulet is tied to two others and a set of animations in the game.
Great work as always , and thanks for always keeping the all in one current :)
Sounds more like you're talking about the Gauldur Amulet?, same vanilla model and also found in Saarthal (at least one fragment) but a different amulet. Not started to create them yet, just brainstorming, it could be three separate ornaments that are combined in the final version or a single one that is split. In any case, the style will be similar to this amulet and the enchanted rings. However I also have to check the complete quest event log, so I don't mess up things during the end sequence.
Thanks for your appreciation, the aio will always be updated for my LE users because they count their esp's ;)
You're correct, I was a little foggy this morning. I was thinking about the destructable door in Saarthal and my brain got ahead of my tongue LOL.
I did like the idea of a Celtic knot in three pieces though. Were you planning on doing anything with the animations that combine them? That's going to be interesting. Anyway, thanks again and sorry for the confusion. I actually popped back in to fix the post.
No worries mate, we all fail from time to time, makes us human I guess. Totally forgot to check the door in-game, because I thought it'll use the ground model, which it doesn't... so I replaced the model of the door and add my model to it, worked as it should. Added it in v1.1 for more immersion. I see what I can do about the animations for the Gauldur Amulet, I always want to implement my replacers flawless into the game. But first I have to create some models I guess.

Is anyone kind enough to send me their own generated meshes, I'm using the standard UNP body.
Ave's plugin erroneously does not include the NordVampireRace.
