It should be. I don't know entirely, and you may have to wait for lists to repopulate (may take a few days in-game) but from what I know it should be okay due to the fact that it only changes minor records.

Quick question and forgive me for any stupidity involved with this
Is this supposed to buff or nerf the spawn chance of amber/madness ore in it's certain spawn locations

Oh my lord, thank you! Varla stones are getting so annoying! They're worth so frikin much and they're so common XD. Having a stack of 30 items that sells for over 15k yet only weighs 3lbs by level 20ish is ridiculous.

Could we also have a version that "that removes these from boss chests entirely, save from Khajit Merchants" like in the misc patches?
i would use the misc patches but they do another hundred things i'm not interested and they require WACCF.

    Thanks!

Referring to what I've learnt about it, I can prob do this for the ores but idk what the pointers for the Varla/Welkynd stones are to make sure they show up in Merchant inventories but never in chests.

I'll upload a test file for the ores at least, feel free to see if it works for you.

      Thank you!
I've tested it with 50 boss chest on a new save and it seems to work perfectly

i hope you can also do the Rare Curious version :)

Hey, nice little mod you have here, was noticing I kept finding these things at like level 3 and was wondering what the hell was up with that.
I was wondering where you ever considering adding a MCM for it, that way we might be able to customize droprates/minimum levels for these items ourselves?

Sorry for slow reply. As I'm getting back into playing again (because this game has an iron grip on my soul) and it's the New Year, I'll look into learning how to do so. No promises though.

Thanks for the mod. Maybe an additional suggestion for Amber/Madness Ore: It can only appear in chest when the quest was startet / done up to a certain point. Often when I play SaintSeducers i only install it midgame because I don't want that loot appear on a newly fresh lvl1 character.

I genuinely don't know how to make that a thing sorry, this was a minute hotfix. Might be better to ask the Unofficial Creation Club Patches page for something like that.

They wouldn't fix it because it isn't a bug, just an annoyance by design

It's extremely late but I've added a base level requirement to the items spawning, should the idea still interest you.

I tinkered a while ago with some scripts to fix this issue but thought that it was not worth the effort. Today i started Skyrim with ModOrganizer again after some pause and saw the update. Thank you, i guess this kind of works as a good intermediate solution

This looks very interesting. Plenty of mods to delay the cc quests, but I couldn't find one that lowered the loot spam. I might actually use Saints cc now if the world isn't flooded with amber and madness ore.

Thank you so much for making this! It really is a bit ridiculous that the Welkynd and Varla Stones seemed to have a 100% drop rate; I was practically swimming in them by the end of my latest playthrough! A much-needed change for sure!
