If you are looking for Official Strings from the Original Game 'Skyrim Legendary Edition', you can find them at the mod profile following the next link:
REMEMBER that both kind of Strings; from the old game (LE), and from the new game (SSE-AE), are totally INCOMPATIBLE, and you must NOT to MIX the files between them.
If you are looking for to change voices too, you can get the Official Voices from the Original Games in its different versions, following the next links:
Read the 'Mod Profile' description. This is just for the 'Base Game'.
If a mod uses 'vanilla string lines', it will change ONLY what it takes from the 'vanilla game strings', if the mod adds new things from the mod itself, this won't help.
Hi, since i have a problem with the "help" function in the console (no viewable strings available) i guess, either from a corrupted mod i used (changed the languages in game, so i had to revert them back manually) or cleaning the master files, can i just plant them in the data folder ( my own are invisible) and would it help to fix my problem? cheers
Due to the unkown nature of your problem, and how complex it can be, I think you can do it that way. As I think you already know, 'Loose Files' wins over anything at *.bsa files, and if you already have other 'Loose Files', they will be overwritten at the moment you decompress the ones from here in your 'Data' folder. Also keep in mind that maybe is something related to some 'Plug-In', so I don't know. Sorry, I can't give you more help about it.
Anyway, give it a try, and please, post here the result. Best of lucks with it.
Hi, thanks for your kind response, i tried it before with your files, but unfortunatly nothing changed. After that i verified the Integrity of the game files. Downloaded one new file and replaced it with the broken one. Same result, no strings viewable. Then i checked mit ssedit for errors, none. The only strange thing (for me, because of missing knowledge) is these lines: [00:04] Background Loader: [Update_English.DLSTRINGS] Using encoding (from language): 1252 (ANSI - Lateinisch I) [00:04] Background Loader: [Update_English.ILSTRINGS] Using encoding (from language): 1252 (ANSI - Lateinisch I) [00:04] Background Loader: [Update_English.STRINGS] Using encoding (from language): 1252 (ANSI - Lateinisch I) Why latin? Now i read your post and i was sure i don't use loose files, but i checked again and there was really one one mod i installed with loose files https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5271?tab=files It's the Rigmor patch in the optional files. And the "fun fact" I'm writing here right now is, because my game ctd'd while doing the rigmor quest. Could this patch also be the reason for my "help" console problem? It's really confusing, i never had any of these problems while using the 1.5.97 version the last 10 years. sigh...
According to your answer, I think you can have the wrong 'Strings' files in your 'Setup'. I invite you to read the 'DESCRIPTION' tab of this mod profile, concretely what I wrote at the section 'F.A.Q.', in its point number 3. It speaks about strings incompatibility.
If you are using 'Skyrim SE/AE', you cannot use 'Strings' with '1252' codification, as you posted here. You HAVE to use 'Strings' with 'utf8' codification, or you will suffer errors. Also, I don't know if you used the wrong language 'Strings', anyway take a deep look at it.
Appart of this, if you don't find a solution, I can't help you more. Search in a deep way here in 'Nexus', or try to use 'Google' searching about it. I'm very bussy with other projects related with 'Skyrim', 'Informatic', and other 'Multimedia Productions', and I cannot give more support.
Hi there. i read your FAQs, but maybe it was just hope i din't understand it correctly :D I found out there was more problems after using re-saver (stacks and all that) and i no longer have the motivation to reinstall all the mods again or looking to fix errors. On my old machine (win8.1 and SSE 1.5.97 vers. i had 650 mods and it works like a charm until i switched 3 weeks ago ) Now i have all the errors i already had when i started modding skyrim the first time like 10+ years ago. I think now it's the best time to retire from Skyrim. I wish you all the best mate and good luck for the future! cheers
Well thanks, but the french version was very badly translated by Bethesda, so several mods contains corrections for this translation (with new strings of course) including and mainly the french version of ussep (and of course the same is true on le). (It's so bad that the french version of the game has bugs which exist ONLY in the french version).
Yes, there are very much 'Bugs', when speaking about 'Localizations' with texts and voices. That's why there are mods dedicated to fix them.
In my case, speaking about the 'Spanish Strings', is the same (even with the new 'CC' content). One of my future projects related with 'Skyrim LE', and 'Skyrim SE/AE', is related too with it. Let's see when I can take time to do it. First, I will try to release an 'Optimization' Mod. I have some projects I want to make and release since 2013-2014 aprox. So let's see. Step by Step.
Anyway, I hope this 'Mod Profile' is useful for everybody who needs the 'Original Strings'.
It's actually real bugs, not just textures not translated for the signs, or spoken language issues, but parts of the game not working correctly due to the translation. So the french ussep has not only strings and dialogues corrections, but also a separate bugs correction file (and a second one now for crf since it's included in the pnosse (the name of the french ussep) itself (yep even on le with the pnosl (usleep)). And yet despite all that, there's still issues (in english there no difference between you (as said to someone of the family or a child) and you as said to a stranger, in french there's a difference between the '"tu"" used for a single person for the family, close friends and children and the "vous" used for several persons or a single unknown person, an official or your boss. Result the french game doesn't make the difference, which is very unnatural for us when speaking to a kid, and a small mod was created just to fix that.
Yes, it must be a really annoying thing. In 'Spanish', one example very close to the one you gives in 'French' with the english word 'You', can be the fact of that exists: 'Tu' (something you have), 'Tú' (pronoun), and 'Usted' (for to show more respect, and/or overall for strangers...). So, I totally understand what you say.
Maybe, when doing the 'French Translation', they were thinking about the old 'Medieval French', or something like that... I don't know.
Anyway, and fortunately, as you said, there are mods to fix all of these errors.
Thanks for this mod. It is great to get lockpicks back in the world and not being forced to reload when your only one lockpick is broken or add them with console. However I'm not pretty sure about the quantity of lockpicks I get: 1-2 in nearly every npc inventory and 5-6 in chests. It`s not what I remember from my legendary edition playthrough on medium about five years ago.
Thanks for the reply, but this "Mod Profie" is only about the 'Strings' (texts into the game), and nothing else. I'm not sure about what you are refering to, anyway, I hope this was useful for you too.
I searched something like it for Steam Version - 1.5.97. THANK YOU! My strings gone crazy, since the Enderal even after reinstall, I've downloaded FR and EN strings, and my UI works again.
I think so, but I'm not sure. As long as I know the 'Steam/GOG/AE/Others' share the same 'Strings' files, due to they are updated versions of the game, and it goes beyond the 1.6.x... version, so you must not have any problem. But as stated, I'm not sure at 100%.
If you want, try it and put your experience here the way everybody can know it. If so, I will credit you for the testing.
Excellent, good news then, I will try to reflect now at the description that you tested it at 'GOG' version and it was all smooth without any problem. Thanks you very much for the testing.
At this time, I need to update the 'Strings' Files shown here, for to have the last updated version.
I have and use the 'Skyrim Special Edition' v1.6.353... and according to the Anniversary Edition, if it has the same version, once updated, it will be compatible. Not at this time, need wait till I can update it with the last version.

Pues podrías probar de dos maneras;
