It is unfortunately not compatible with CACO. However, if someone wants to make a patch for this mod and CACO, they have my full permission.
At this time, CACO would require me studying the ingredients in that whole thing, and I don't have much time for that unfortunately. At the time of this post, I'm currently working on another project which is taking the majority of my gaming time.
Could you please add a crafting potion to this mod that turns you into a vampire like in sacrosanct? I can't download sacrosant because of other mods that conflict with it.
I'll take a look into it. Currently busy with life, but I should be able to scrounge up something eventually.
Update: I'll need to study how the vampirism infliction works in Skyrim. There's a lot of moving parts that are way over my head. Update2: yeah, I dove into that mod, and there's so much going on, I don't even know where to start. My suggestion? Get Fast Healing. Get some magicka regen and restoration gear. Go to Broken Fang Cave or whatever its called, then let the vamp in the doorway dip at you until you get diseased.
If you're running an overhaul, try putting my mod at the end, and then casting the spell. Sometimes overhauls of varying kinds can mess with the math of magic effects.
okay, i have a problem. I think this mod hidde the meat of the animals: i only can loot blood, skin and alchemiest things. Im not using anything more who change my food and alchemy except this mod
I'd uninstall skyrim, uninstall your mod software, clean your drive of all mod and skyrim related files, then start from scrap. My mod doesn't edit meat files. It adds recipes to the game, and a few spells.
I'm trying to get this mod to work with Last Seed, and I'm running into a few issues. It seems like it isn't recognizing the animal blood as food, but it will still recognize the vanilla Potion of Blood.
I'm working on writing a compatibility patch for it, but I'm confused as to how Last Seed categorizes food vs this mod. It still fills my hunger and thirst bars (which is great! No more starving vampire!) but the bad news is Serana still won't drink or eat.
As far as I understand, npcs don't drink or eat. I mean, animation and ai wise, they do, but not in a functionally necessary kind of way. You might have to adjust the tags of the items recipes within my mod.
You have my permission to fudge around with it as is needed. Giving permission ahead of time, though I know it's hella late.
Double check that the plugin is enabled. If you're using MO2, your mods are on the left and the plugins are on the right. I'll also troubleshoot this with Better Vampires. Not sure why they wouldn't appear otherwise.
Edit: I checked inside and outside of vampirism, I checked with the blood potion perk activated and not, I checked putting BoA before and after BV in the load order. My recipes are showing up on my end. I'd suggest checking the BoA plugin itself and make sure it's enabled.
Editedit: oh wait, animal blood to loot. No, you harvest animal meat and mudcrab chitin, then make the blood in a cooking pot. That's how it works. The blood isn't harvested straight from the animals.
Otherwise, there would be edited loot tables, and the game could get kinda janky and unstable that way. Looking into this.
I have since been proven wrong, and have added it in, plus a few other things.
No problem. I did add blood to the item tables, and I tested it with both prominent vampire overhauls, so you should see them now. Prior to your post, blood never dropped. It was made, though your suggestion did kinda work in the mods favor.
No one's going to be drinking a crap ton of animal blood or it'll kill you. So, balance is also not something I'm not too worried about.
But yeah, if you have any other suggestions, I don't mind.
Instead of tying it to vampirism, I tied the recipes to the ingredients in the inventory. Long story short, there are spells and such I'm going to add later that make it so that vamps and non-vamps can make use of potions of blood.

Any ideas?
that'll fix it.
Edit: aaaaand done. It's not going to be easy, but it's doable.

It shouldn't be too difficult.
Thanks for the mention!
