I've been using this myself for a while now and it's worked flawlessly. A great solution for one of Skyrim's initially subtle, but gradually more and more glaring flaws. For those who are having issues, I can only guess this conflicts with other movement-related mods? I'm personally using 40 mods, but none of the others are doing anything with movement speed or the like as far as I can tell, and like I said, it works great.
My only minor complaint is that, and maybe I'm just being paranoid here, it feels like giants started lumbering faster than they used to after installing, like they got the speed buff too.
Sorry for the late reply but this mod only changes the value of SpeedMult which only effects the player's movement speed, unless there is some undocumented game bug, which I doubt.
Otherwise, I am glad you are enjoying my mod. I am using far more than 40 mod and have hundreds of hours of actual gameplay using this mod. It is not perfect. Sometimes the value of SpeedMult gets gimped and I do not know why. It is noticeable but not game breaking and reloading my last save usually fixes it. I am working on an update that should utilize the game engine better and be less reliant on scripts. No ETA yet.
A useless mod that constantly increases speed for reasons unknown to me, after setting it up, after a couple of minutes my speed increases by 2 times or more, when I go into mcm menu to check it, it displays that my current speed is 250-350, etc. I had to delete it because it's simply unplayable.
theres an option that increases your speed per level of your character. set it to 0 if you dont like it. there are also sliders for sprint sneak and jog in the mcm menu.
I don't this this is a bug just with this mod, likely it combined with something else and a vanilla issue. It got worse about happening when I added a upgraded storm armor spell from forgotten magic to my build. It improved walking speed out of combat. This is place people will look for a work around so I will post it here. I've had it happened both in sneak and blocking. Basically if I get knocked down while in an animation I get stuck in the animation's walking speed. So basically walking half speed when I checked this mods MCM. I tried shielding/ drawing my weapon, setting and praying and that didn't reset the animation. What did work was playing a few from Immersive Interactions, but I would thing it would if you just played a few vanilla ones until something reset the animation would work. Hopes this helps someone since I couldn't find an answer anywhere online.
Otherwise this is great mod and has become a staple in my load order.
I'm still encountering a bug where after i load a save game the character's speed is set to normal. i think cobb encumberance might not play well with this mod
Unfortunately, this is only one speed value in the game...SpeedMult. All player movement speeds are based on this value, so by adjusting this value your running, sprinting, and sneaking speeds are all affected, not just walking. You can use the MCM to compensate for this if you feel your running, sprinting and sneak speeds are too fast/slow.
From a technical side, yes, it is would be possible to make a version that only modifies walking. Unfortunately, I have lost the source code for this mod, which means there will be no more updates unless I decide to re-write it from scratch. Sorry, but that is not happening any time soon.
Just an fyi for everyone, I tried flagging this as ESL (on 1.6.640) after installing but before running the game, and it seems to be working perfectly. It's great with Player walks Indoors SE Revised.

It doesn't appear in the MCM in the game, though, and can't adjust it :(
