Yes, it went ridiculous that all imperial stocks crashed to almost zero (East Empire cost 0.001 per stock), while Aldmeri stocks were literally worth millions. I did kill the emperor, but then joined the empire in civil war and did east company quest, but stock crashed regardless. In the end, I just configured prices and indices to believable levels by console, type «help “index” 3» it will show u list of indices, ones starting with FR are added by this mod (3 is important, otherwise it will show you bunch of irrelevant stuff)
They all follow FR***Price naming, just set them with "set *** to XXX" console command, eg East Empire Company is FREECPrice and etc. Most of them should come out with "help "Price" 3" command. Tbh, I think the original scripts are bugged, because they will eventually drop Imp values to 0 and Tha values to infinity. Likely numerical error, like divide by zero kind of thing, but I didn't take deep look into script yet.
Thanks. I would if I knew how. If you get around to it please touch base. Absolutely love the idea of the mod and a fix for the script, some balance, and maybe a price cap and this would be a outstanding addition to my mod list.
This is something that is actually putting me off from trying out the mod. It seems silly to have stocks that only ever go up or down like that - there should be room for some unpredictability. Plus, it just seems like Stormcloak-propaganda to think that Imperial stuff will ever go down, since they're the best money-making group in Tamriel despite their recent troubles in the lore?
This isn't really about the Imperials as a people, but rather the Empire, so the moneymaking properties of the Imperials don't really factor in here. Hell, many imperials probably invest in Aldmeri stock. I'm guessing that the Civil War and the general volatility of the imperial markets(ie. shipments getting stolen, Stormcloaks 're-appropriating' certain assets, the threat of localised wars in High Rock and maybe another devastating Great War in Cyrodiil) makes it a lot less appealing for investors.
Meanwhile, Aldmeri stock maintains its growth because the Dominion is generally stable, has enough internal security to project Justiciars outside of its borders, and the risk of invasion or theft is extremely low -- especially if most of the relevant stock is tied to assets in Alinor and not on the mainland.
The header model and makeup texture file path of this module is incorrect, missing one level of folder. The nif file path it uses is Meshes\Actors\Character\Facegeom\StockExchange.esp, and the dds file path is Textures\Actors\Character\Facetint\StockExchange.esp But the correct path should be the nif file: Meshes\Actors\Character\facegendata\Facegeom\StockExchange.esp. Dds map path: Textures\Actors\Character\facegendata\Facetint\StockExchange.esp. Skyrim cannot read this erroneous file, which is why NPC has a black face. They are all missing a layer of "facegendata" files
I Honestly don't think this mod is working for me.. I cant find the stock broker, I go to where he is, (maybe its not compatible with Holds The overhaul?). i even downloaded the shezarrine mod since its part of the universe and yet I still see nothing. Can anyone help?
Have you figured this out? I found which files edit the texts for the numbers, just can't seem to find the file for the value. If you figure it out, please let me know.
No :( I haven't. Stopped that playthrough until someone does and tells me so I can. Otherwise, I am too busy trying to do the same thing in the real world. I actually asked anbeegod (the mod creator) in a personal message, but unfortunately he replied a little sarcastically and briefly, advising me to use TESxEdit. Didn't tell him I already was. Don't want to bother people and this issue isn't that important, anyway. Even though I waste real world hours clicking and clicking to purchase significant amounts of Vici-Salvian/Vici-Salvian index stock.
