The mod is great, but I have some remarks: 1. Get rid of Cultist robes, they aren't really Dunmeri, they are only worn by Miraak's cultists, and it doesn't make sense for Dunmer to wear these outside of Miraak's temple on Solstheim. 2. Give Brelyna her College clothes back, while they aren't mandatory, everyone wears them, and poor Brelyna sticks out like a sore thumb in her Telvanni robe. 3. It doesn't make sense for each and every Dunmer mercenary and warrior to wear chitin armor, You should diversify it a bit. For example you can leave Chitin armor on Jenassa, but remove it from Irileth, who, as a Housecarl should rather wear nordic style armor. 4. Don't give Morag Tong Armor to Dunmer who have nothing to do with the organization, like aformentioned Irileth. 5. Leave Volkihar Vampires (Feran Sadri, Garan Marethi) their Vampire armor, they look out of the place in Dunmeri outfits.
This mod was made for early versions of SPID and I didn't have the time to update it since August 2022, so that's why the chance of finding dunmer with chitin armor isn't random. You can easily disable any changes that you don't like, though.
About Irileth, she's a former member of the Morag Tong, so it does makes since that she can use that armor. Everything else is a matter of preference, and like I said, you're free to edit it to reflect your own views of how it should be.
For anyone here in 2024 and beyond, it seems that Interesting NPCs is just as much of a hard requirement as SPID. I say this because I was getting no results from any of the NPCs from this mod even when trying "resetinventory", "recycleactor", and "disable/enable" until I said screw it and downloaded the interestingNPCs mod as well. Now it works perfectly, though some actors needed the console command treatment to reset themselves. This is remedied by just starting a new game though fyi.
I am aware it's clearly listed as a requirement when you click download, but I had my doubts and only saw the author mention SPID as a hard requirement in the comments. InteresingNPCs did the trick for me.
(also despite having the newest version of SSE, I had to use the non-anniversary edition version of SPID for functionality. I tested switching to the other just now and it went back to not functioning, so I recommend the SSE only version of SPID, even if you technically play anniversary edition like myself.)
Will this make all Dunmer NPC's have these clothes?
Because I think a significant portion of Dunmeris would be acclimated to Skyrim's culture and will wear Skyrim's clothes. Is there any way to make it so that only certain % of NPC's are distributed these clothes?
I like this mod but even with the updated version I still had problems with the Champion of Boethiah, I checked the DISTR file and I had to modify the line of text referencing him to what my game showed on the console, I think the file has him as "DA02Champion" and my game said it was "DA02ChampionRef", so I just changed that, added a - to his ID and disabled/enabled him to reset his corpse, that fixed my problem with the quest.
you can change the chance of them getting it. change the 100 to something like 33 or something in the ini file included so 33% chance for that npc to spawn with the clothing

Hi MelwenMods,
I would like to see a bit more variety.
As maybakhbereh once suggested, it would be good to introduce randomization.
Unless you want to offer this yourself, can you please give me some help on how I could try it?
I once thought of the following but didn't try it because I was afraid of destroying the _DISTR.
My approach is the following see example from your DISTR.
Red Dunmeri Outfit (Hood)
Outfit = 0x3CEEC~Dragonborn.esm|TreasCorpseCommonerDarkElfFemale,Maluril,Marise|NONE|NONE|NONE|50
Just an idea. But is it right for 50% chance? Is this the correct syntax?
Thanks for any help.
