I've been busy these last weeks and I could not make progress on that. Related to the vertical motion, while reverse engineering Skyrim's code I found out interesting things worth another mod to improve locomotion. Currently I'm working on updating Compass Navigation Overhaul with several fixes, and improving my UI framework Infinity UI. Once I've released both updates, I will go back to work on this and another UI mod that I think you will like a lot ;)

Thank you for posting an update on your work! Take all the time you need. I can't wait to finally try out MCO once you make the update. Valhalla Combat alone made combat so much better. With MCO it's going to get to the next level hihi.
Guys, just wanted to flag that the skyrim guild website (linked in the description for the Modern Combat Overhaul, in particular) is compromised and redirects to an Indian (.in) site that tries to install malware.
Please could you maybe change any links in the description for this mod to point to Distar's own page, so that other users don't risk downloading viruses instead of Skyrim mods? Thanks

I, too, was confronted with a bad link -- not a redirect, just a dead link. I won't repost the link here because, if it's as the OP says and a redirect to potential malware, there's no reason to disseminate it further.
I was eagerly going to download this modern combat overhaul you mentioned, but when searching for that name I did not find any mods that require your mod, so these similar-sounding mods are obviously not the one you mention which is "built around" your mod.
EDIT: internet search for "MCO Skyrim" rather than "modern combat overhaul" brings up the Distar Animation page which I am certain is the mod you're referencing:

That site has well-known major animation overhaul projects, which I have yet to try.
f*#@ do not tell me that, I opened the link twice and the first it opened and closed but do not know if it was me by accident or itself and the second I opened in a private tab but it was jus a blank/white page with nothing in it, how do I know if it did something? i have AdblockPlus and Ublock Origin an use Avast, none did a warning or anything.

Oh, ok thank God, I did like 8 full scans with Windows defender and Avast online and offline and checked with the microsoft sysinternals tools tons of times to see if something weird was running and to my limited knowledge it seems ok, and the page does not have the ".in" from India, and your comment makes it better for me, so it is the old website from the mod and it no longer exist (I suppose alexsylex changed the wrong indian site to the official one and then the official one changed their site to a new one).
Without Bethesda you wouldn't have a game to mod. The most recent updates sucked for me as well. I had to make some changes and some sacrifices to my load order. Time moves on and the world keeps spinning. Just saying.

What people like you fail to grasp is without "Bethesda", you would not have games to mod. Pretend that you live in a universe where "Bethesda" does not exist. Pretend you live in a world where Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout 4, Starfield, and all the upcoming games do not exist. What then? Would you play a different type of game and then complain that particular game studio is keeping their games up to date and releasing new content? i'm still pointing my middle finger at Bethesda the update was entirely unnecessary all it did was add paid mods (something NOBODY asked for or wanted) and broke everything UI mods are STILL broken to this day thanks to the "new and improved" creations menu that was lazily shoved into existing code instead of being properly implemented (or just left out entirely like it should've been) so we have every right to complain about BGS f*#@ing our mods up for no reason other than pure greed. If this was just a simple bug fixing update (even just for the creation club) nobody would really care that's par for the course at this point, but breaking all our mods for their shitty paid mods model (which isn't much better than the creation club (at least mod authors get a wow massive 30% of the profits (with Bethesda pocketing the other 70% in case you couldn't tell that was sarcasm 30% is an insult to modders Bethesda shouldn't be getting a CENT from these mods) and again is PAID MODS) is frankly unacceptable and i will NEVER buy another Bethesda game as long as i live starfield can f*#@ off so can fallout 5 and elder scrolls 6 (if they ever come out) as they'll have the same f*#@ing bullshit paid mods nobody likes but BGS will keep putting in because some people (mainly the console players) are dumb enough to actually buy them

Over four months have gone by and people like you keep showing up to give me their "two cents". I run 1.6.1170 with over 1500 plugins. Everything looks great and my game is a lot more stable with no mod related crashes. If the mod hasn't been updated to the newest Skyrim version, then it's probably not worth having. Back to my original comment. "Yes. This mod still works on Skyrim version 1.6.1170."
Don't pay these idiots any mind. Ungrateful rats the lot of them. They wouldn't even have a game to whine about without Bethesda. Multimillion dollar company or not, there are real people who work there and the constant dehumanizing that this pathetic fanbase does to justify their constant harassment against Bethesda and anyone who has the brains to be unbiased should just have their purchases revoked from their Steam accounts.
I'm having an issue, guys. This works for everything else but MCO for some reason. I'm not changing to BFCO or anything like that, I already have a custom set-up built, I'm just wondering what I did wrong. I've never had this issue before. When I attack I'm stuck in place. The attack happens, but my character won't advance with each step like they're supposed to, for said animation. Does anyone know a fix? Everything I've seen claims the issue is here, but this mod seems to be working fine. I've reinstalled it like twenty times.
SAME BRO!!! I thought I was crazy for trying to fix this for the last few months. I have everything installed and it's proper versions but nothing seems to be working. I've been considering to just going to a previous version but some modders lock out their older versions
Aye, I found the fix. Clear your Nemesis cache. Delete the entire Nemesis folder, screenshot, or list your checkboxes before you do so you'll know what to reinstall. Then, reinstall them. That's what I did. A patch that isn't patching correctly is causing our issue, likely residue from an older version or an animation engine fluke. I switched from Nemesis to Pandora and got the same problem. I updated MCO, too. Not sure which thing did it, but it was one of those things. Once you re-patch it, problem solved.
Just advice but whenever you add anims or make load order adjustments its always a good idea to delete all items in the nemesis cache (not the folder just the files inside) and start up the nemesis program and update the engine then tick/reorder all your anims listed and create the patch.
hi im having a problem that i have ZERO idea on how to fix. basically i want to install tk dodge and have my character roll but my character only seems to sway, and when my character sways, they get launched a couple feet away, it kinda looks similar to the whirlwind shout but it feels clunky, because as soon as my characters feet touches the ground they suddenly come to a complete stop
yes i even changed the ini settings, i tried dynamic dodge animation, and i even swapped from nemesis to pandora and no matter what, the same problem persist. i also asked on tk dodges mod page but no one responded
even tho i removed tk dodge re for my recent playthrough, i noticed that the bug is still there. i use an animation mod that lets my character actually sleep on a bed and when i went to sleep in a bed my character was still crouching, but as my character got up from the bed they were stuck in a crouch position and whenever i would try to sprint, the same sway bug appeared
sorry for all the yapping but im just tired of trying to fix this issue and i hope someone can help me here
