does this only alter specific armor pieces or does it like change how the armor system works in code? what im basically asking is if this applies to armors added by mods
It isn't worse, because of the huge weight difference between Light and Heavy armor, I needed to balance them out, or the magika regen would have been trivial for Light armor compared to Heavy. Keep in mind that the average light armor has a weight of 6, so that would equal to -12% Magika regeneration. While Heavy Armor starts with Iron Armor @ 30 and stops with Deadric @ 50 weight points, so depending on the Heavy armor you're wearing you would start between -30% to -50% Magika Regeneration. That is a big difference between the two. Light armor is a much better choice for spellcasters, while heavy armor is better suited for those who use magic sparingly.
If you would like to make a suggestion, please feel free.
This usually means you haven't purchased the Anniversary Edition version yet, you're are just running the latest version of Skyrim. I would recommend switching to the Vanilla version of the mod.
So today, after much digging, I learned that I do not have all of AE assets installed. Typically, I just verify the integrity of game files and move on. But apparently, for AE I had to open the normal game, not SKSE, and log into the creation club. So I did that, and suddenly, it started downloading everything. I think it has been literal years since I opened the game from steam... So all this time I've been playing AE without all of the content.
So thank you for your patience. I learned something today. Also, I wonder if this might fix some of my stability issues. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of my bugs are because the game is looking for assets I lack. Anyway, watching all these assets that I thought were already on my computer download.
I was really interested until I read that it basically negates any sort of enchanting on shields and armor. Deal breaker for me. :( Any chance you can look at remaking this with some newer tools like SPID? Or a system that can add perks dynamically using keywords?
It seems to be working alright with it uninstalled so far, though that is always subject to change. Its a great mod, I just want to be able to enchant my armor.
Would you happen to know if this mod of yours is compatible with Thuldor3621's Sentinel armour mod? It appears to be a cosmetic mod for vanilla armours and doesnt change any vanilla stats, do you think a patch would be needed?
id love to see a variant of this that adds negative effects as well. so heavy armors might give you a good bit of health but lowers your stamina, while light armor gives lower health but doesn't reduce stamina. then clothes just give you stamina but no health.
You might be interested in a mod called "Master of One". Is as perk overhaul that adds with each perk a disadvantage and upon wearing armor you have slowed stamina regen and loss of magicka effectiveness. The heavier the armor the bigger the stamina drain but you can reduce the drain investing in armor perks.

Do these buffs/debuffs continue to work when the player gets the weightless perks?
Also, I just tried to install the AE version, but I'm getting a lot of wierd missing masters.
I think that was the old AE before they were consolidated.

Probably not a good idea to uninstall mid-game.

Best vanilla armor replacer called "Total War Armoury (Discontinued) "
and fully supported naturall by Advantageous Armor.
