I seem to have come down with a VERY nasty cold. Headache, fever, no use of nostrils to breath, coughing my damn lungs up, the works. So this 30 day challenge is on hold until I have use of both nostrils to breath. Honestly if it wasn't for this insane headache I wouldn't be putting things on hold, but I feel like my brain is gonna explode so I promise I'll be back when I'm not dying of a cold.
Starting June 8th 2021, I will be doing a 30 HUDS in 30 days challenge! All through the month of June I will be posting a brand new unique custom HUD preset with all the bells and whistles every day. Most of them will be for Less Intrusive HUD 2 SE, but I'm also working on learning SkyHUD for those who prefer that. I hope y'all will stick with me through this, and I hope that eventually one will strike the fancy of each and every person. Feel free to drop a comment with a suggestion, or something you'd like to see configured!
NOTES - while many of these will include the MiniMap mod, I'm working on some HUDs that are based around its location, and others where it's completely optional and not necessarily needed for the preset to look good. And I will also be working on HUD presets for all the Custom HUD options, as well as vanilla and other various mods such as Paper HUD.
PLEASE NOTE YOU NEED THE FISSES PATCH FOR LIH2 - YOU KINDA NEED TO BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY LOAD THE PRESET YA NUGGETS

I got the mod to work once and I wanted to switch from option 3 to 5, and now only the default Widget mod icons keep loading up. I followed Star's instructions repeatedly but keep ending up with the same result, they seem simple but they're also confusing, and im curious as to why the same files and folder's exist in the option 1-5 folders, like a folder called "widget mod" if its like never used I'm supposed to take the skse folder from Widget preset from the very first download option available, its called HUD preset, and the directions state to take skse from widget folder @.@But then for the other options it states "the file setup is the same and follows the same install instructions on the main page" So in a sense its like the directions contradict themselves. Meanwhile, I cannot seem to get the minimap function to load up either. I've tried uninstalling all the required mods, and reinstalling and no luck. I decided to load up my game after uninstalling everything again and two duplicate widget mod options are still available yet they don't have any selectable options. I would think they shouldn't even be there anymore. I don't have the ESP or ESL plugins for them. So I dont understand why those two duplicates are even showing up still.
UPDATE: Welp, I figured out my issue...NOT manually deploying after adding in the new UI files was why my setup was not loading in.. ._.
hmm, ok I'll take a look, can you also send PM me your papyrus log so I can see that too please? OH! And are you using the Official CrEaToXx version, or the Unofficial SSE Port version? I have always used the Unofficial Port, and that has always worked just fine for me.
Is there any way to set up the HUD like the screenshots that say Option 5 without having to manually move and size everything? Also, somehow there are 2 Widget Mod in the MCM.
yes, you move the files as explained in the discription. Make sure you have the Less Intrusive HUD II FISSES patch. You have to disable either the esp or the esl for widget mod. I use the esl.
The one on the right side, there should only be save and load on that side, if you make any edits to the HUD, use that save to be sure the changes save. never use any of the left side options.
Something just keeps going wrong. Followed all the steps, loaded the preset in Widget Mod, loaded the preset in Less Intrusive HUD under the FileAccess. The HP/MP/SP bars end up halfway covered on the right side of the map, compass stays at the top middle of the screen rather then moving to under the map and the Lvl, gold and weight markers are partially under the map as well.
I have to post the image to a website in order to even upload it (even though other sites easily allow you to directly upload a screenshot saved on your PC)? Also, tried Option 2 and the compass and HP/MP/SP bars all ended up hidden behind the map in the lower right corner. Does it matter that I play in 1600 x 900 windowed mode rather then fullscreen?
your resolution might have something to do with it, I'm really not sure, I've never played in windowed mode before. If you have discord, you can post them there, and then you should be able to link me just the pics. Would you mind testing it out in full screen to see if that helps in the meantime?
Hmm... in fullscreen, the Lvl, weight and gold counters are in the correct place but the HP/MP/SP bats and the compass are still wrong. I do have discord but not sure where I'm supposed to post at. In what order should all the mods be 'installed' (I use Mod Organizer 2 so I can easily switch around install orders).
when I opened the widget mod file it did not have an skse document file to replace just two files [WM_WidgetMod.bsa and .esp] in there dose this matter?
Yes, because this isn't a plug and play mod, You have to physically open the files and put them where they need to go, like I put in ALL CAPS IN THE DOWNLOAD DESCRIPTION. You can also find the exact install instructions in the main description.

ahh you must be the reddit user I just replied to! will you please go over EXACLY the steps you took to install, and what happened in game? Is it crashing the game? Is it just not loading properly?

I really like how your hud looks in the screenshots. When I try and use it I don't get the same results. I followed the directions and copied the folders into the respective mod folder. The "Widget" preset worked fine as well as the "a matter of time" preset. The only one not working correctly is the Less Intrusive HUD ?

Everything seems to be in the default location for the Custom HUD... I would try to recopy the files. Something may have glitched out. I just went through with a fresh install of the Custom HUD too and it loaded fine.
