If anyone has problems with these animations and knows which mods are incompatible with them (yes I know creature pack is incompatible), please write back. I would be grateful.
For those curious, I just ran this in AE (1.6.1170)- no FNIS, just Nemesis. Using Steeds of Skyrim and it works great! No issues, great idles and animations for player and horse. Some clipping/weird flopping with the mane when sprinting, but these animations weren't intended to be used with vanilla manes.
My personal tip- If using Steeds of Skyrim, buy the horse from Raven Rock. The short mane makes for no clipping issues and flawless animation!
Hey there! I know you're not the original creator of the mod but maybe you could still see to this.
I use the trotting animation instead of the canter one (makes more sense to me and I prefer a walk>trot>gallop animation style rather than a walk>canter>gallop)
Thing is, when trotting, the left side of the horse's rump sinks. Any way to fix that? I does it with every single horse skin I've used.
The rider animation works fine, but I'm still seeing the vanilla animation for the horse. I can't seem to get it to work using nemesis. Do I need to install anything for the horse's skeleton? Am I missing something here? (No, I didn't install the creature's pack thing. I'm using nemesis.)
I'm having a bit of trouble with the mane flickering while galloping, I've tried to install it manually and I'm using Nemisis. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Same thing - but in this case it's weird because it wasn't happening before. I use Steeds of Skyrim.
Probably because their manes are so long it causes flickering? It's not so bad that I can't deal with it but strange it's only occurring now (rebuilding my list, all I have is Edmond's Skytest Lite, this and Steeds + horse stamina/speed buff + simple & simplest horses).
Ah maybe that was why, load order auto sorted by LOOT. I can do some more testing later by moving the animations below Steeds of Skyrim - that's the only mesh mod I have everything else is just editing stamina/speed.
god i love this horse animation but i can't with its double trotting sound, i have IHS and choose between realistic hoof sounds and this mod breaks my heart... Dude can't you do something about it? It only fails when trotting, sprinting sounds good as vanilla, walking too, but when it trots it seems like a double or triple horse...
have you managed to fix this? having the same problem here, I use other sound mods not only for horses but I think the situation is still the same. The problem, if this case is similar to another footstep sound problem from animation that I had before with another mod, is probably that the animation adds extra footstep annotations sounds for trotting, I think that we had to edit the animation files with hkanno but don't remember how to do it and if it will solve the problem
Little late here but, the big Audio overhauls that SSE/AE now has that are for the most part updated to recent stuff includes horse hoof sound fx as far as I know.

Nothing helps me, I just don't know how to fix it
I disabled everything related to horse mods and started a new game, the problem remains...
