The bug tab on my mods has been changed to "author only".
Bug tabs are often treated as "express question" tabs by users, resulting in them filling up with items that are not actually bugs or are caused by other mods or even vanilla Skyrim, forcing the mod author to troubleshoot an issue that is at best a coinflip as to whether it is even related to the mod. Furthermore, users tend to ghost you when you ask for more information, resulting in their reports being stuck on "more info needed". The consequence of this is that the list of unresolved bugs grows to an unmanageable size over time.
If you have concerns, post them here and they will be added to the bug tab once they are proven to be actually a bug.
hi im currently using valhalla combat and sekiro combat S as my main combat mods in my modlist. will this mod be in conflict with them or will it work well together?
Hello. My native language is not English. I want to translate MCM and use it. What files should I look at? I looked at all the files, but I can't see any files that I can translate.
My combat mods are: AGO, Deflection, Mortal Enemies, True Armor, Precision, Violens, and Valravn. I noticed enemies are hyper aggressive with this, like a group of 6 bandits will just pile up and start swinging. Is that intentional? I find it survivable, but it is a bit much for me. Are there any mods that change that type of behavior?
I've put off diving deep into modding Skyrim again for a few years now but I always check in the nexus to track stuff that looks cool and I've gotta say it's pretty cool you're still here making great mods all these years later.
Is the intended behaviour of melee NPCs supposed to be holding block at all times, shield-bashing, and rarely attacking? I'm playing on adept difficulty with no other combat mods and that's all they seem to do, if they're under-leveled, equal leveled, or over-leveled. Only mod I could think of is Mannaz maybe affecting stamina? I like everything else about this mod but the combat just turns into me using a single power attack to break their stance and them dying.
Can you pleasse add "knockdown to ragdoll" when actor samshes other actor with a bash or another stamina reduce attack to make his stamina fell to "0' (under 1)? The idea is to keep hold actors stamina above 0 and the actor can't reach negate or '0' stamina by himself. But enemie's attacks can negate your stamina or make it below "1". And when there is no enough stamina to handle the enemy attacks then applies "knockdown to ragdoll" (like a KnockBackForce Mod )
Could not regen any stamina when holding any weapon. Stamina would restart immediately after sheathing a weapon or unequipping it. Issue was resolved by disabling this mod and restarting the game.
What I don't get about some combat overhauls that I've tried, Valravn included is that the changes they introduce hit melee builds way harder than ranged playstyles - which in comparison makes ranged playstyles even better than they were.
Ranged builds, especially sneak archers, opt out of most combat related systems. No combat mod will make a difference when you just one shot enemies from across the map without giving them an opportunity to respond.
Mages are slightly better in that the enemies will at least try to attack, but Impact stagger spam means they never get a chance either.
Also, other than the sneak archer, melee is generally better than ranged in vanilla because they scale more easily and you can become almost immune to damage anyway.
