Yes, I am well aware that there are other alternatives. I wanted to make one myself. But yea, the LOTR weapon pack includes an Anduril that has its actual sheathe and overall looks better.
No it was a traditional Longsword. carlos67t a "bastard" sword is a longsword. What people think is a longsword is actually a shortsword or an arming sword, historically speaking. And a greatsword depends where you are on how big it actually is.
Anduril is a a hand and half sword also known as a bastard sword a elongated form of longsword that could be used with one hand or two hands for more force.. however given the proportions from the film and the ones that apear to be in the pictures i am inclined to think this is a longsword length with a longer grip .. then usual wich is just fluff since you character cannot grip with two hands unless you have some mod to do so.. just my thoughts take it as you will. Just a brief google search will reveal that the true length of the movie sword is about 1.34 cm.. give or take..
Anduril can't be wielded properly with one hand so it's not a bastard sword. Just because you can hold it in one hand does not make it a bastard sword.

Anyway this sword here is way too small.
