I'll be honest with you - I hate this location, its gamma, how boring terrain wise it is, how POIs are just random gothicish blocks, so not much love invested, forgive me. maybe I'll do better one day with proper iso assets and without rubbish dead trees, headstones and cairns to fill gaps, smth clean and beautiful. but not soon.
what you might want to know here: violet area is a map part behind the barrier; those bright gems over structures are supposed to show ideal masters; names got mostly from Atlas Map Markers, very few from official lore (which is scarce just like damn Soul Cairn), I don't consider those names under some major structure spoilers but if you do, let me know, it will be easy to remove them and upload version without names; map should be more or less precise geo/markers wise but take ruin assets size into account, they are rather schematic.
FOMOD and some framework cleaning (eslification, minor bugs like Throat of the world) next, then we will together choose what addon to map.
EDIT: collar been missed in last release, fixed it in 1.02 (plus one wrong label).
CHANGE LOG 14.09.2021 - 1.03 - has a tiny fix that enables Fast Travel in this location (just like in Atlas Map Markers). kudos to Milo49 28.01.2022 - 1.7 - both versions ESL-flagged. 20.04.2022 - FOMOD added, it has 2 textures to pick for the map itself (old paper texture was changed to the better one) and 2 backgrounds added to choose from in addition to plain black. Also very minor changes to the map itself. Versions before FOMOD available in Old Files. 08.01.2023 - very minor update: background mesh and texture cleanup, FOMOD text fix. 1.9 - added UW and higher FOV support, upscaled map textures and backgrounds to 8K, increased min zoom a bit, added potential SoS support. Size increased to 98Mb. 1.9.1 - compressed to BC1 (lossless), archive size: 98Mb -> 90Mb, installed 129Mb -> 65Mb.
no. either you have wrong plugin/mods load order (smth wins soul cairn worldspace entries over FWMF) or you manually changed inclination angles in config or you are over the map border (in cells not available by conventional means).
Then I'm entirely at a loss. Plugins seem to be fine, All of the maps work except for the soul Cairn, are as for changing inclination angles im guessing it's the Json file within Flat world Map? If so, I haven't even touched that, plus I've reinstalled Flat world map multiple times so the file should be default. and as for being over the Map border I COC'd to the Soul husk merchant to test if the map was working, Could COC'ing into the soul Cairn cause this issue?
I have no idea how but for some reason i was not getting the top left notifications texts but then i uninstalled it and it was fixed anyone has any idea
I have no idea how you managed to break notifications with a map mod as well. either you are extremally talented or its some vortex deployment shenanigans.

Emmm, nobody seemed to question this before, but is this a flat map in this style abailable for skyrim area? Among all the flat maps I love this one the most.
nope. it would take me a month at least to make it for Skyrim and Skyrim alreeady has tons of better maps already (like Caro's, Mirhayasu', FC's etc), made my pro artists.
I'd sure check them out, I've seen a huge list of them, but the one that stood out was yours, and I think it's not only my opinion. I don't know why you consider other maps better, yours is top notch. Anyways, maybe one day you'll change your mind, and the world will see a miracle hehe.
technically you can install maps separately without fwmf fomod and have 3d mainland skyrim. but you need to understand how things works here then - you need to install Flat Map Markers with soul cairn worldspace whitelisted for markers flattening, make lighting overhaul patch for soul cairn if you use specific weather/lighting overhauls, set background separately etc.
All your maps are amazing are really fit for Skyrim !
I have a question regarding using Soul cairn map :
I used the console command to teleport to Soul Cairn (through TMM 1 to make every map marker appear and then go to Alvak Altar for instance) to try the map.
The map for Soul cairn is appearing above the Tamriel map and is clipping through. Is it simply because I used the console command that the map use seems off ?
My current load order has Soul Cairn map -> FWMF -> Water for ENB + patch.
I dunno if there are some issues with teleporting to tmm 1 marker (soul cairn markers shouldn't be visible on mainland skyrim map anyway), but after natural enter or via teleport to worldspace ("cow dlc01soulcairn 0 0")mapworks like intended, no clipping or anything.
my next project is to survive russian shellings and winter without electricity, water and, possibly, heating. after that I will try to finish Wyrmstooth and Beyond Reach maps :)
yeah, its a legit worldspace for a map and tech part of it is ready actually, need to draw it and it's not gonna be easy, a lot of smaller weird buildings. here is a precise trace image:
