If someone has a problem with Aela not to wear better armours (than wolfen) all the time when she following you, just an example:
You give her the Dragonplate armor and she wear it but if you fast travel to another city (or otherwise happening loading screen)etc and she put back on Wolfen armor then the problem for me was the latest Spid and Powerofthree's Tweaks mods(6.6.1 and 1.8.0)

As I remembered that last year I had these Housecarls GAR(spid too) and Aela in Wolven mods and they worked great then so I went back to using these updates:
    Spid Version: 6.1.0
    Powerofthrees tweaks: 1.7.5

And again the mods work as they should(edit:At least Rayya and Aela sticked with better armors on when I Testing older Spid and Powerthrees mods)

I Play on AE version 1.6.629

That's really annoying if so. Which version of the mod? Standard or SPID?

alrighty, I think I've got it figured out.

When Aela is in werewolf form during the Blood Ritual, that's the actual Aela NPC, rather than bethesda just placing a standalone "werewolf Aela" in the Underforge. So when she transforms back, she'd be naked. To solve this bethesda has the quest force her to equip an outfit, which is set to be the draugr stuff she wears in vanilla.

Its an easy fix, but kinda messy in that now I have to edit quests to fix it.

Alright mod itself works fine now but now if you use the growl werewolf mod the character won't transform and be bugged at least with spid version havent tried the other one but ive feeling both those mods would be incompatible now

spid has an update to make npcs equip outfits when they are loaded into the game instead of at the start (ie when their 3d model is loaded) might wanna try that?

Hi, thank you for making this mod.  Does this only work with the Sleek Wolf Armor replacer version? because with the Sleek wolf armor
Standalone, it doesn't work for me.

If the armor replaces wolf armor, yes. If it adds a standalone armor set that is a different item than normal wolf armor, no.

If I use the Growl SPID version, do I still need the base SPID version?

A mod I didn´t know I needed. Great idea and SPID Version works flawlessly on my replaced Aela. Thank you very much

A nice idea, but it just occurred to me that Aela is skilled in light armor, which together with being an archer might explain why she wears a leather set instead of the Wolf armor (and maybe also to help her with transformations? If she likes being a werewolf so much she might appreciate the less restrictive top she wears instead of full armor like the others in the Circle. But Farkas doesn't care about it when the Silver Hand ambush you so huuhhhhhh gameplay and story segregation I guess!? *insecure shrug* ).

Maybe it would be even better if the mod used some light variant of the Wolf armor, no matter the material as long as the design was still identifiable there. But that might be a bit too much than what's intended and, again, it is a nice idea. I'll definitely give it a try.

Ironically the armor she wears is actually classed as heavy armor.

And it would be terrible for hunting, it offers next to no protection while having dangley metal bits that would make noise. Skyrim is also supposedly cold so it is hardly suited for someone who would be sneaking in  the wilderness a lot.

It is! It's such a confusing armor, the kind that could only be conceived for ceremonies (and we do mostly find it on Draugrs, who don't really have the same priorities in armor as the living do).

Damn, I didn't request it, but I'm glad someone did. I've never even thought about Aela not wearing their signature Wolf Armor set, but now that I've seen it, I'm totally on board and here for it. And really, if you think about it, literally nobody else in the Companions loves being a werewolf as much as Aela does (she's even willing and planning on dying with the curse/"blessing" attached to her soul, even if she'll never see Shor's sacred plane of Aetherius for Nord honored dead), but she's the sole Circle member who doesn't wear the armor, so that's pretty funny lol.

Definitely gonna give it a shot with the SPID version, so we'll see how it turns out! Thanks friend
