As a heads up to users, anyone using the SPID Wet and Cold equipment mod will get their floating book summons equipping gloves, capes and backpacks depending on region and weather, lol.
Under Wet and Cold's config file section [Cold Gear], I added: ; 100% chance to exclude cold gear for summonable entities. Keyword = _WetExcludeColdGear|NONE|NONE|NONE|S|NONE|100
Under [RAIN Gear]: ; 100% chance to exclude rain gear for summonable entities. Keyword = _WetExcludeRainGear|NONE|NONE|NONE|S|NONE|100
Under [Survival Gear (backpacks)]: ; 100% chance to exclude survival gear for summonable entities. Keyword = _WetExcludeSurvivalGear|NONE|NONE|NONE|S|NONE|100
Hope this helps someone!
Also, if using R.A.S.S. you will get the effects on the summonable books as well (frosty breath, etc).
This mod is amazing and I think it'd be really neat if you were interested - in adding unenchanted versions we can acquire to then enchant ourselves - or what would really take this to the next level would be if the spell tomes were animated to some extent / somehow instead of being static books floating / attached to our shoulders basically lol. Either / both of those additions would truly make this mod next level!!!
Hi Jinxxed0, I'm using your gorgeous mod together with Kanjs Spell Tomes Retexture. That other mod makes Spell Tomes have ENB light, and fortunately, is also structured to be used with your mod, but the problem is, that while your Spell Tomes have the same background color as Kanjs retexture, sadly magic school logos won't glow on the summoned tomes. Is there a way to make my summoned tomes to have that ENB effect?
If I had to guess, there might be something in the mesh you can change with Nifskope. Looking at the mod, they don't just change the textures, they change the meshes. My mod has to use it's own meshes that call on the vanilla texture so that any texture replacer will work. So any replacer that replaces the meshes wont work on my mod at all.
To get mine to glow, I would basically have to learn how to do whatever that mod author did. And I have no idea what they did. I might be able to figure out but I'm really busy (which is why I haven't done much modding lately in terms of releasing anything). You might be able to figure it out if you open two sessions of Nifskope, load a mesh from that mod in one and then open a mesh from my mod in the other and then see what settings they use. That's where I'd start. I would look in the part that say BSLightingShaderProperty to see. Then i'd change the stuff there in my mod to match the meshes from that mod, save my mesh, then test it out in-game.
If I can remember, I might try and figure it out and make an addon option if I can figure out. But that's honestly months away before I'll have the time at best. Possibly longer. I'm trying to get to a point where I'll have more time for modding stuff again.
I'm having a problem with Liralen's skin being dark/brown and I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if it's just me. I am using bijin skin, npcs, wives, warmaidens and AIO. Is this incompatible with bijin or is there something missing on my end? I've used follower mods from the author before and had no problems, but it's been a while and I can't recall if I had any npc overhauls with them. It's a small thing, but I wouldn't want these mods to be causing a problem with her.
She's supposed to have dark/brown skin. She's supposed to be an elf with some Redguard heritage. I haven't fully fleshed out her backstory yet, but she's not supposed to be fair skinned.
Oh, thanks for the reply and reassurance, so she has blonde and thinner eyebrows now? Sorry for wasting your time, if she's supposed to look like this, I was just alarmed that mine looked much different than the images.
No, her eyebrows are supposed to be dark and thick like the screenshots. I have no idea what's going on in your game. Maybe you have some sort of replacer mod for eyebrows? She's just a simple NPC.
Yeah, I suspected that, but I don't think I have anything that changes eyebrows. I'll try to find out and fix the problem and if I can't do that, then I will try narrowing down the mods on a new playthrough. Hopefully I come back with an edit with good news.
EDIT: So, I have CBBE eyebrows being lighter which looks like she doesn't have any eyebrows from a distance.
Yes, that is also a good idea that I will try. I think it should be safe to uninstall and reinstall this mod mid-playthrough, but if not, it isn't a big deal for me to start a new one or just keep her as is in my main playthrough.
hello Jinxxed0 I would like to know would it be possible to make chun-li as a follower since you are the best to do that thank you in advance have a nice day

Can't buy anything from the merchant
if you make her a follower or marry her, she probably wont sell you anything anymore
I've been looking into animated meshes. I have no idea how to do it. If you know know how, I'd love a tutorial.
