Because Bethesda doesn't know when to stop updating an offline, 10+ year old game.....
All files in the 'Main' and 'Optional' categories have been updated to include the "Creations Menu" section, and I've also ported over some of the other keyboard/mouse changes that were included in the original .bsa from Bethesda. All base file numbers have remained the same for clarity, I've only appended an additional .1 at the end of them. I've loaded my game and didn't get the CTD, so should be good. I'm currently in the process of updating my mods so I'll give it a full testing later.
Special thanks to Stultusaur, and LkiraY for helping everyone out with the quick fixes while I was on Skyrim hiatus.

I have been fiddling around with this mod for quite some time since the last update and haven't found anything to improve upon. Therefore I am considering this mod as complete. It is 100% working and stable, and does exactly what I want (thrice over for bound control schemes, twice again for unbound).
I have been able to effect the changes I wanted (using the controller to input several pre-defined commands, and allow for an 'enter' key press) and even a few I did not want (using the Xbox home button). Unfortunately, this was only do-able through the use of a 3rd party software.
I hope you all have enjoyed this mod and have found it useful. If you have, please endorse it so others may more easily find it. Thank you to all of those who have already done so.
V2.3.0 "Xbox Control Scheme - Director's Cut" has my current, edited version of "Xbox Control Scheme - Modded" (bound) version. No other versions have been edited. I am uploading this purely because it is my current config, and I will only edit it as I change my own config. I am currently thinking of disabling the 'start' button (opens pause menu) for another MCM key, but have yet to find a hotkey I wish to assign. This version will not be supported at all. It is literally a copy-pasted version of the mod I use myself, in-game, so I know it works as intended for unedited vanilla setups (i.e. fresh install). Any error is on the user's end due to incompatible game edits (SKSE hotkey overrides or changing default bindings in-game).
Version Note: I replaced 2.3.0 as the main file and the one disabling start (2.3.1) as an optional file. This is because I reverted back for my own game. No 'start' button to pause the game is quite difficult to get used to; and based on downloads, this is mirrored by the general populous. 2.3.1 Is still there for those who need the extra SKSE Hotkey, however!
Changes from regular "Moded" version (2.2.1): ***Directors Cut 2.3.0 (available under 'Main Files') changes: Window/back key - Disabled for use with MCM Mods B + Window/back key - Wait B + RB - Screenshot B + Y - Pause Menu ***Directors Cut 2.3.1 (available under 'Optional Files') changes: Menu/start key - Disabled for use with MCM Mods (B+Y for pause menu/journal)
NOTE ON SKSE: To assign keyboard hotkeys on SKSE, it is necessary to disable the "controller" option in Skyrim's in-game settings. This is a game limitation, as the game was meant to be played with either controller, or keyboard/mouse, not both. Furthermore: you can use the "bound" controller setup to play the game with SKSE hotkeys. After setting up the hotkey, and re-enabling the controller, SKSE mods will read key presses through the regular 'block' on "bound" controller schemes.
This may be a dumb question so apologizes in advance but is the mod supposed to unbind the B button? I am able to get to the player menu using the LB + Y, B, A, X as described but my main goal in downloading this mod was to free up the B button. However, no matter what version I download pressing B still pulls up the menu screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Excellent mod, though I can't seem to figure out how to assign hotkeys 4 - 8. When I press LB+D-pad on something I want to assign to say, hotkey 4, it just opens the Group menu. I know it's obviously something I'm doing wrong, so any clarification would be great.
GOG 1.6.659. version user here. I was looking for easy quick save & quick load for gamepad and found this. Downloaded the Xbox Control Scheme - Full. Works as intended. Thanks & endorsed.
Does just what the description says and just what I wanted; 8 hot keys for xbox controller (lite version). Also appreciate that it works for ver. 1.5.80.0.8 and has NO requirements.
Easy to install (manual) and easy to use (hold each hotkey over highlighted item in favorites menu).
I love this mod, but since the last update of doom it crashes my game if my controller is plugged in. I disabled the mod and the game loads perfectly. Any thoughts, anyone? I know many people have been having similar controller issues since the update.
Unfortunately keybinding input contexts were changed in the 1.6.1130 update of doom.So mods like this would have to be rebuilt using the new controlmap text which can be extracted from the interface BSA.Otherwise they will CTD or not work correctly.

B + Y - Pause Menu

Brilliant mod, highly recommended.

I have found a solution, and applied it,
Still need to test,
But it fixes the instant crash that was happening.
Apparently this was broken in 1.6.1130
But the below needs to be added to the controlmap.txt file.
