I'm taking a guess here, but maybe Kronvas is referring to mods like this one... https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/24521 In the description page (the yellow compatibility section at the bottom of the page), it talks about an incompatibility with one of the monsters. However, it is due to a compatibility with one particular monster because it re-uses the vanilla "Lurker" skeleton, which (for some reason) doesn't like HDT.
So it seems more like the problem is with the skeleton itself, rather than HDT. A solution is mentioned in that mod page, regarding changing some of the skeleton nodes.
Mihail released this new monsters pack https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/56567 and as tattwood said "it is due to a compatibility with one particular monster because it re-uses the vanilla "Lurker" skeleton, which (for some reason) doesn't like HDT". So as soon as I face that monster I get CTD.
Unfortunately myself and many other people don't know how to edit those nodes in order to make it compatible so if you can make just an optional file please in order to make it compatible would be great!!!
I was looking for someone to mention this! I play skyrim vr with a wabbajack modlist (that I then alter, UNP to CBBE, physics, gameplay tweaks etc)
It took me forever to figure out that a Mihail monster interacting with HDT-SMP was causing my immediate CTD. Unfortunately I could not find any guide as to how to fix this. And due to the nature of wabbajack modlists (merging monster additions together and such) I admit it is beyond my scope of knowledge to be able to remove a single Mihail monster without breaking the whole game. So I have been playing without HDT-SMP, but after finally getting a RTX 3080 (after 2 all nighters at best buy and falling victim to an internet scam) I want to push it to the max!!!
I wouldn't expect a separate release just to address this one issue that the majority of people never have, but if anyone reading this could point me in the direction of a easy/step by step guide on how to fix it I would be grateful.
I think its better for you to try it one by one. On my case, PC got AVX 2 and yet i actually have consistent framerate with Non-AVX. About unlimited jiggle for 3bbb, i notice that happens when fps below 50/55 also got quite script follower/etc(for me), try first
"This mod overwrites all the files from HDT-SMP, including its config file; if you made modifications to it, you'll need to report them in this config file. That also means you don't need the HDT-SMP mod."
So if my pc isn't thaat happy about me running smp boobs and hair (can cause crashes in cities for example) would this fix that issue or is that a stretch?
I got no CTDs, but a major FPS drop when switching to first person while using Improved Camera 4, so I'll be sticking to non SMP hair for now, unfortunately. But thanks for a great mod/tweak! It really does help!
To anyone having a jiggling problem, it is caused by the max-distance code adding and removing actors from the bullet simulation, which causes a huge dip in your fps for a few milliseconds at a time. A different version of the .dll isn't going to help because they all have the same framerate sync code. More/less iterations won't help, changing your min-fps (probably down, not up) may help some, a cloaking spell equal to your max-distance radius that repels entry would probably work, but it's a bug in the code that needs to be squashed.
So, when someone tells you to change your iterations or .xmls, feel free to ignore them.
Just my belief after being knee-deep in the code; I could be wrong.
Currently I have a setup where I use only CBPC physics within CBBE 3BA installation (no 3BBB MCM). This mod is loaded before CBBE 3BA, and the only file 3BA is overwriting is defaultBBPs.xml. This is working, though I've noticed some minor jittering on some hairstyles with physics.
When CTDs occurred, Faster HDT-SPM was loaded after 3BA and I had a setup SMP and CBPC full (breasts, butt, thighs, calves, genitals), so this mod was overwriting plenty of 3BA's .xml files. Crashes were nearly instantaneous upon loading any save. Take a look at my NSF crash log here (one of many). In every crash log, my load order is completely messed up for some reason.
I didn't experience crashes when I had the same setup but this mod was loaded before 3BA. But breasts were incessantly jittery - even with "no jiggle" option. I'm using AVX no CUDA, all of this is with version 1.10.
Also, I don't tweak .xml files because I'm not familiar with certain values, so they're all on default. If this mod requires the player's input in .xml files, it would be nice to have an Article here on the mod page where every tweakable instance is explained in detail. As an example of misunderstandings, a lot of people don't know how to even install 3BA properly because they don't understand some things (language barrier, lack of tech savviness etc).
Anyway, thank you for putting so much effort into this mod, it really does improve performance - when it's working I have now installed the updated version (1.12) without additional .xml files so I'll see how it goes.
1.11 solved some CTDs, so yes I'd be interested in knowing if you still experience some.
Thanks to your comment, I have added a link to the guide on the physics xml files syntax in the FAQ. Feel free to experiment
I guess you're right to try first without the additional xml files. Those were included in some of the provided versions before 1.11, and I'm less and less enthusiastic about providing pre-tweaked xml files, as players setups are so diverse.
Here to report It works well! I noticed a bit of boob jittering initially in RaceMenu, and right after I adjusted settings in SINful CBP MCM, but after a few minutes it stopped. Physics work fine, performance is great. During the installation of the update, I chose SSE -> not CUDA -> no xml files. It's loaded before 3BA.
You're right - now it's probably some conflict between 3BA body and CBPC physics... I'll look into solving it, but if you have any ideas, do let me know :)

I want the newest/improved version and I have a 5000 Series AMD
Which should I get?
I consider myself, as a CS Major, pretty tech-savvy, but this was way confusing than it should be
I have a question regarding your mod. Do I need the actual HDT-SMP mod? I know I need to install capes etc
Also I wanted to say it is good to see modders like you, very informative and willing to help.
Thank you!
If you're experiencing CTDs with this version, report a bug in the bug section
Please follow the Bug report sticky then

I put it into my TODO list.
Of course, anybody willing to help squashing this bug is welcome to do it
Can you find which xmls are involved in these CTDs?
Or provide a way to reproduce the CTD?

But I don't understand your comment on Sinful CBP; if you use CBP for boobs, then SMP isn't used for boobs, and the jitter can't come from it, right?
This mod adds a SKSE dll too. I don't use LE, so I don't know if SKSE dlls are compatible with LE.
This mod is now featured on my True Graphics and Immersion List
I like your guide, I used it last month
