Mod doesn't work. I've tried reinstalling it and everything multiple times, even installed the CBBE version thinking that was the problem but no luck, the only thing this mod seems to change is the hood, everything else is default vanilla. I eventually gave up trying to make it work after numerous failed attempts.
To answer potential questions:
No I don't have ANY other DB armor mods that could possibly conflict with this mod.
No I don't have Weapons Armor Clutter fixes.
I genuinely don't know why this mod refuses to work but yeah.
It's just a substitute for meshes. It can't fail to work if you don't have such mods. There are two options here. Either you have a mod that also replaces this armor, or you are doing something wrong when installing. Install this mod on a clean version of the game, if even then it will not work for you, look for the number of the nearest shaman, dancing with a tambourine can be very effective XD
Yeah I found the shaman but all they did was dance around me and throw weird powder in my face while saying things in what I assumed was Spanish? Then they charged me 20 bucks for the performance and never answered my question about the armor.
Same issue. I even tried moving it to the bottom of my load order.
Update: Got it to work when using it with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/80026 or https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/58255?tab=description
I installed it manually and it works great. I have vortex mod manager but what I did differently was I navigated to skymise and just dropped the downloaded DB folder in there and it worked liked a charm. I hope this helps.
А на каком теле это основано? Неплохо бы указывать, броньки-то красивые, но для использующих BHUNP, например, будут проблемы с текстурами и вообще. Если на ванили - так и укажите! Ну, не трудно же! Но за работу спасибо, конечно )
Ok I finally found a solution to the problem of the torso appearing with the vanilla texture on my female character that worked for me. Here it is :
So for context, I am using this with the CBBE conversion (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57553) and of course when installing a CBBE conversion I have to build it in BodySlide and I did BUT there was a conflict with the vanilla texture and I must have chosen the wrong one so everytime I wore that armor I'd get the Vanilla (phys) version of cbbe instead of this mod's.
To fix this I went back to BodySlide and I looked for the conversion in the "Outfit/Body" dropdown menu in the top left. I looked for "Dark Bortherhood Armor SE [3BA]" and in the bottom left, just over the "Batch Build..." button there is a unchecked checkbox with an orange text that says "meshes\armor\dbarmor\dbarmortorso_f_0.nif (and_1.nif)".
The fact that it was not checked and that the text was orange instead of blue meant that the texture wasn't actually used by CBBE (by rightclicking on the orange text you can see what other version there are and see which is checked) Anyway I checked the dbarmor "Dark Bortherhood Armor SE [3BA]", text became blue, I clicked on the big "Build" button, after a second got a message saying CBBE was correctly applied and there it is, problem solved.
Yea, it's not even showing up for me. The conversion I can see on the body slide outfit studio, but not the actual db mod itself. There's not even files for the “Cliente Tools” etc., just “meshes” and “textures”. I can preview the look in game but when I wear it, the only part that converts in game is the hood and I don't know why. I'm just using regular cbbe for reference. There is nothing on the armor for the outfit body slide studio.
Is it really necessary to expect an answer to this question if there are buttons like "Preview file contents"? If the file size is visible? If in general the files are grouped as "main" and "optional"?
it is a necessary question because many mods have the complete file among the optionals which does not require main.Do you know what they say where I come from? Ask for is reasonable, answer is courtesy.
Write this down too. "Don't explain the obvious and don't encourage laziness." You had enough clues to solve your problem and I have already listed them.

i have one problem for some reason npc's use vanilla boots texture. only the boots.edit: fixed it by moving the boot's meshes manually into the dbarmor folder in main game path.
