Greetings. I would like to confirm something. If I install the original mod and then replace the appropriate files with the ones from this distributor will that make it so the original becomes and esl on top of being distributed to the Master Necromancer NPCs?
Oh thanks for the quick response. I went ahead and downloaded both mods and confirmed it's Esl status with SSEdit. Many thanks, one endorsement incoming.
Sorry if stupid question but how do I use this? I have installed the robes and turned it into an esl then installed this mod and when asked to overwrite I said yes, but now the game won't start. I had not used the robes mod before. Thank you for the help in advance!
I have installed the SKYBLIVION - master Necromancer Robes mod and with SSEdit I turned its esp. into and esl. Then install this mod and when asked to overwrite I said yes to all. Removing this mod solved the issue. I have tried now with leaving the Robes mod esp, but it crashed again. I will play around with it more, maybe I can narrow down the problem.
Crashing? That's super weird, I recommend reinstalling skyblivion's original mod, reinstalling this and overwritting. The ESPFEization I've already made, so no need to turn it into esl through xedit.
Greetings! Nice request. But I think it's better for you to play with the mod yourself. You just simply have to add this line to .ini file of this mod in your installed mods folder: Outfit = 0x81F~SkyblivionNecromancerRobes.esp|Vighar|NONE|NONE|NONE|NONE|100
Thanks, if you have any more questions/requests just ask :)
Oh well, I also tried, how did I test? I searched for Vighar baseid to console command teleport him to me from this page: Vighar | Elder Scrolls | Fandom I got his ID and placed him at me. He didn't wear the outfit, but the name of the NPC wasn't Vighar! It was Master Vampire.
Putting Outfit = 0x81F~SkyblivionNecromancerRobes.esp|Master Vampire|NONE|NONE|NONE|NONE|100 works, but all NPCs named Master Vampire will wear the outfit.
Sorry bro, but I don't know how to fix this fast, if I come up with a solution I tell you.
Uhhhh, why did you replace the required mod's .esp file instead of just making your own?
Not only is this a completely stupid way to make a SPID mod since if it ever gets updated, none of it would be reflected since you are overwriting it completely, but do you even have permission to use their plugin? You wouldn't even need your silly little warning if you just made your own .esl flagged .esp plugin.
I simply made it like this because I don't want a Necromancer robes mod taking up a slot in my Load Order and I imagine everyone else doesn't too. That's why I wrote ESPFEied. And which huge update a clothes mod's plugin would get ??? If for some reason, that mod receives an update on its plugin, I'll update this one too, ok? It would be of no good for me (and for most people, I imagine) if I made an extra plugin for the necromancer outfit, ESL, but the original mod's non-ESPFE plugin were there, taking up a slot. If you asked politely, I would make an optional file, dependent on the non-ESPFE original mod, just for you.
And you are partially wrong about:
none of it would be reflected since you are overwriting it completely
because this just holds for plugin updates. If that mod gets a retexture or mesh update, my plugin would still work.
Every single SPID mod uses their own plugin and flag it as an .esl which is the proper way to do it. No matter how much you try to argue your way of doing it. You should never go about it this way. You'd never even need to worry about updating this mod ever if you just used your own plugin.
You also never admitted to getting permission which further makes me believe you didn't. If that's the case, this mod should be taken down until it is properly created without using anyone else's files.

All SPID mods that don't have their own plugin and overwrite the original mod's plugin, just from a very very very quick search on nexus??/my modlist. So who are you to tell THE PROPER WAY to make a SPID mod, again? Are you also going to tell these users they are not doing it right?
?You'd never even need to worry about updating this mod ever if you just used your own plugin.
Again, I told you my motives, I don't want this mod taking up a slot in my LO. So, I want it ESPFE, not some other plugin that only adds outfits and the spot is being taken the same way.
?You also never admitted to getting permission which further makes me believe you didn't. If that's the case, this mod should be taken down until it is properly created without using anyone else's files.
Yeah, I forgot to answer that. I didn't get permission to change and reupload their plugin, but I AM NOT USING THEIR MESHES AND TEXTURES! Their mod is 100% required. And you can find a plethora of mods on nexus that does the same, just replacing plugins but requiring the original mod. And they don't mention permission to do that, just warnings saying what was done. But you got a point, and I am going to ask SkyblivionProject if they allow me to upload this "mod". I really really really look forward for their answer, and I am going to reply to you, here, what they answer me.
I didn't get permission to change and reupload their plugin
Then why would you upload this. This is exactly why so many mod authors are extremely uptight about permissions. You are changing it to a esl plugin. This is a modification. The permission page specifically states that permission is required before you can release any modifications to any part of the mod.
I'm not sure why those were your choices to try and use against me dude. Honestly, this is quite silly to continue. You are hopelessly wrong here and with your kind of attitude and only 41 posts, you are either using a 2nd Nexus account (which is against the rules) or are actually new here and think you know how to do everything and know all about the rules, when you just flat out, don't.
The 3 mods you showed me are either complete reworks of how the mod is used (SPID for Footprints) or in the case of the other 2, affecting leveled lists, which your mod does not do. If you're going to give examples of why your mod should not have it's own plugin, at least use examples of mods that do the same thing as yours. Like these:
Need I continue? Because I can. These all take armors from other mods and create outfits out of them in their own plugin. Oh yeah and they flag them as .esl too. You keep coming back to not wanting the plugin to take up a slot. It won't because all SPID mods that do what you are trying to do can and should be flagged as an .esl plugin.
You also literally admit to altering the file and uploading it without permission and you still think you're in the right here? Are you kidding? Breaking the rules and then getting permission when you are called out does not put you in the right, so that attitude that you have about you trying to put me in my place when the other person "grants you permission" is laughable. Just do things properly, man. That's all I tried to say. But yeah....
Taken right from the page of the mod that this steals from.
All you had to do was take a hint from my first post and make your own plugin, which is literally done in 2 clicks in xEdit and if you know how to make outfits in xEdit, you should also know how to create an .esp that is already flagged as an .esl in xEdit.
You really had to add an exception to your statement, didn't you? Basically your thought:
> Makes file ESPFE and adds two outfits: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! YOU CAN'T DO IT THIS WAY, YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE A SPID MOD!!!! YOU HAVE TO MAKE A NEW PLUGIN!!!!
> Makes a COMPLETE REWORK, does not make a new plugin, and overwrite the original mod: Yeah, yeah, this is fine, cool, cool, it's okay.
So, ok... And I still don't know who you are to tell me how to make SPID mods. If you didn't like what I did, simply make your own and don't come here s***ting rules.
About your so-called stealing, I added a sticky note from my messages with Rebelzize, there you can see how angry he got from what I did.
About the rest of what you wrote, it simply does not make sense to me, sorry.
Greetings, pocho! Of course, you can ask me anything. I must share with you that SPID does not work with some NPCs, at least, in my modlist, and I don't know why. They are (for now) Brelyna, Mirabelle, Ancano, Delphine.
So, first I'd make a test to see if the .ini file is working, I usually give the outfit to riverwood NPCs, faendal, seven, alvor, etc... And start a new game, console command "coc riverwood" and check if they are wearing the outfit. If they aren't there's something wrong. You can try that and tell me what happened.
But, how I mentioned, some NPCs doesn't work for me, maybe this Salonia Caelia has the same obscure/unknown problem.
Greetings. The original mod just has items, not outfits, they are different records. You could distribute the items to the necromancers inventories, but they would not wear them. I added outfits to the plug-in and then distributed them.

And, did you test if removing this mod the game starts?
You don't have to say sorry for anything, btw.
PS.: If you use Vortex, remember to deploy after the installation.

Have you checked .net script framework crashlog?
I hope this helps sort things out. :)
