How come after you select a dialogue option the text kind of "shifts" a couple cm for a split second, it creates like a ghosting effect. Anyone else experiencing this? Looks a bit off.
Considering MCM menus have a hard limit on how many can be displayed at once, as I found out recently, I'll say the .txt file is very convenient. I appreciate the mod, as is.
Does anyone have a config that the position of all dialog elements is identical to vanilla?: npc name, topics position, subtitles etc. I don't want to change the look, just improve the controlls.
Also, is there a way to change npc name color? it's darker with this mod
These are my settings using the main file (Vanilla look) and on a 16:9 screen, it looks really close to vanilla. I did try them with the "Nordic UI look" one as well, and it also works.
In dialoguemenu.txt file: bRightSidedList (default false): stick the topics list to the right side of the screen (by default the topics list is sticked to the left sreen border). So true for right-sided topics list, false for left-sided.
Is it somehow possible to prevent the hotekeys used from triggering favorite items?
I have a bow bound to numpad 1, a torch to 4 and a potion to 5. When selecting dialogue option 1, it will draw/sheathe my bow, whens electing option 4 it'll toggle the torch and well.. option 5, you know...
Would be nice if favorites could be 'blocked' or excluded while in dialogue. Anyone know of a way?
For those having the issue where the menus appear extremely narrow: it is very likely related to the support added for additional extra wide resolutions in the latest Skyrim patch.

I want to try YeggHa's hack, but I'm low-key terrified that it will break a bunch of other stuff. I spent 13 days after theat stupid update fixing my Skyrim, and I really don't want to have to go through all that again.
It's safe and it works. You can always make a backup of dialoguemenu.swf if you want to before trying to edit it. Because I'm using subtitles, I also had to realign them because the edit made them appear almost off screen to the right. A simple edit in dialoguemenu.txt of the fSubtitlesXOffset value from 0 to -650 fixed it for me (not sure if it matters, but I'm on 1440p).
So now my subtitles are moved over to the corner of the screen, I'm assuming that's because of this fix
FIX FOR OFFSCREEN SUBTITLES In the dialoguemenu.txt file, Change the "X offset" for the subtitles to "-640" and that fixes the subtitles. For the name, which was off in the upper right-hand corner, do "-640" in both the X and Y Offsets.

my interface became beautiful again
Can anyone confirm that this is safe-ish to use?

Any way to colorize the mouse select text?
Only this feature missing from this mod. :(
