Hi Awesome mod! I always wanted to try a mod like this but never stumbled upon it.. Perfect alternative to the custom races way of doing, on a mod heavy load list custom races are a nightmare
I'm almost finished making this work but I still have a blocker near the end, if someone can please help me that would be awesome!! I'm trying to use the Yennefer head from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/83473
Textures no problem Base head mesh no problem Now the issue is with the .tri files: - The mod has a Head.tri, I copy it as femalehead.tri - Nothing that looks like femaleheadchargen.tri or femaleheadraces.tri however
If I put the femaleheadchargen.tri and/or femaleheadraces.tri from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19181: - The face is botched by the racemenu sliders - The face is soomewhat animated
If I copy + rename the Head.tri from the yen mod: - Face is fine but does not animate
Hi, thank you! I wrote a section at the bottom of the description on linking facegen morph extensions, did you follow these steps / does it help? Nuclear option is to load the head as a sculpt in RaceMenu, which should work provided you have the correct base head mesh I believe.
I've redid it all from scratch and it's working now!! The face is nice and the emotions are there, same as the custom race (somewhat tame)
Now I'm trying a variation: I'm trying to use only the custom texture This would have better compatibility with better facial expression mods and overlays and stuff. I've made a sculpt of HighPolyHead in Outfit studio that mirrors the custom mesh, so the mesh is handled Thing is the UV maps do not match so the texture is not applied correctly it's all over the head
But yeah I'm way off grid now, the base use case is working fine thanks for that!
Geez, you could at least mention that this is female only at the top of the description, instead of making people waste their time reading all your stuff just to find that notice hidden somewhere at the bottom. Seriously, why is it so hard for some modders to put this (very important) information in the mods headline or at the top of the description?
This is a mod that allows you to set a unique body and textures for your character, which will be different from the body and textures for npc, the description clearly states the same.
I installed the textures from the demoniac mod and noticed that the sweaty body textures don't show up on the face, although they should, in racemenu I selected the right part of the face.
There is a mod for unique textures for female npc of each race, it has the same problem that the facial textures do not match the body textures, and there is a script for SSEEdit, which fixes this problem, including specular maps, perhaps it will somehow help you, in further work on the mod. But there is a little nuance, this script is only for npc. =) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/41008 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/48315

I did look for such files but did not find anything that looked related so I did not push the "linking facegen morph part"
