you could make a video comparing the game without your mod and with...I never played this mission but your mod was recommended to me...but I do not know exactly what the differences are...
It's entirely possible, but without the actual "fish biting" animation, it's impossible to do quests without console commands. The boss fight also relies on animations only in SSE, which means unless you want a giant static crab to look at (which is still cool) it's not really worth it.
That being said, the wild spawn fish still spawn and swim.
For anyone asking about an LE port. I've done it but there's some issues in doing so. LE does not have the animations required to not only fish, but when this boss spawns, since it's spawn relies on animation, it too is just a static unkillable object.
However, that being said, it IS indeed completely possible to backport this without crashes, but it will be impossible when to tell if a fish is biting, and thus, impossible to complete any fishing quest without console commands.
Fish still spawn wild, the crab still pops into frame. It really sucks the only thing keeping this from working is Bethesda not having backport animations as this would save the whole thing.
Yes, SSE/CC specific console commands work, SSE/CC scripts work, *JUST* not animations. Sorry about it guys ^^;
yeah but he won't make a version which doesn't require options to be selected during installation so it's kinda meh/annoying to install. if every mod on nexus required options to be selected during installation you can imagine how tedious that would get when you have a collection of like 300+ mods.
can you make another version of yours where it has no ghost and no transparency but it installs clean and easy without having to select options? pleeeeease
or make it like an optional file that disables the ghost and transparency so you just need the original mod + your optional file to do it. <_<
The option for exactly what you are asking for (no ghost and no transparency effects) is in the link directly above your post. wSkeever's mod has EXACTLY two options (2!) to chose from; one of them being exactly what you asked for.
So, to make this "clean and easy" (your words); downloads this mod, install it. Download wSkeever's mod, and during the installation process, press the second radial button (the one labeled no ghost no transparency). Hopefully, having two options to chose from wont ruin or complicate your day any more than it already is.
Sorry, I guess that came off as rude, but nowhere near as rude as the comment I am replying to.

I like to think when I use this mod you're Davy Jones and I'm the person being forced to fight the Emporer. xD
