Don't know why but everytime i download this mod, the download speed is just like 1/10 of my normal download speed. Anyone know why ? Seem like the large file is not a problems since i download a punch of texture mods with this scale multiple times, but only this lower my download speed.
I've gotten that with other mods before, just delete the file & try to redownload, should work after a retry or a few. I guess it's some issue w MO & Nexus communicating the file over, nothing wrong w the mod. I've experienced that quite a few times & redownloading fixed it
Late to the party but, if you are using a mod manager, it is suggested that any large file (>50Mb in my case) be downloaded manually and dragged to "Downloads" in Mod Organizer 2 and Vortex. In this way the likelihood of a large file being corrupt is virtually nil. Downloading directly to the mod manager can sometimes corrupt a large file.
If you can't figure that out, you should definitely be using a mod manager. Manually installing mods is a really good way to F up your game if you are clueless. And there is no real benefit to it either. Not trying to be rude, just being honest, and hopefully saving you and others further trouble.
Imperial Dragon armor from Civil War Champions CC has only 1k textures for boots, hands and helmet. Chest is 2k as are shield and weapons? Should these not be 2k for boots, hands and helmet. 4k for chest, weapons and shield after upscale?
Everything Upscaled is 4k everything. I'd try it if you think that you think that you'll... 1- Be able to run that on your pc with reasonable fps rate (pick a modded city scene with lots happening to check the rate) 2- Be able to spot the difference on all textures (otherwise why bother) 3- Have an SSD that can download the textures fast enough to not notice latency (which most SSDs should)
If any of those seem a likely issue then use this mod. Generally I save 4k for things I'll notice, like mountains, 2k for NPC/Clothing/Weapons, and 512 for clutter as a nice balance between looks and performance. But it's all personal preference.
