I really, really, really wanna do a playthrough with this! But just to be sure to save myself having to get into the game and start a playthrough over, how does this interact with Majestic Mountains, if at all? I have that and a patch that lets it be compatible with Bloodchill, which is basically identical to the Inigo patch, I think. So is it not compatible Majestic Mountains at all either?
Just from the eye test alone, it looks to be a qualified "not compatible." All I've done is enable it, leave it at the bottom of my load order (MM is an esm file, so while I could get it below this, I probably shouldn't), and walk around the place with 'tcl'. I made a new save and used alternate start to drop myself into Dawnstar's inn, then ran off to check the place. Immediately outside of Dawnstar's gate I noticed that there was a chunk of mountain that was lacking textures. When I ran up to the actual location from the mod, several more areas were missing textures. That said, nothing seemed inaccessible or anything like that, so it's entirely possible that this can be remedied with some patching. I personally couldn't do it without studying it a bit more. But I can crack open xEdit and see what's happening. For the record, I'm using the full version and the profile I tested this on does have Coldhaven in it.
EDIT: Just tested it without MM active and it so far seems problem-free. So that's the only conflict in my particular LO, which is nice. I'm not totally married to MM or anything. I just never really took it out of my LO before. I don't have an issue turning it off, but if I figure out how to make a patch, I can let you know. Could also just try to find a replacer for those textures that's just textures and no meshes. MM actually does a lot.
I'd say that anything which requires a patch to fix entry into Bloodchill is probably incompatible. Second Great War is likely also on that list. But I don't have that mod anymore to be able to check.
From what I understand about MM & based off the description, T4GTR34UM3R completely reworked mountains from the ground up quite literally; it completely replaces meshes, textures, parallax shaders, LOD, etc. So, being BMO(CC) is using the vanilla mountains at its core, it would need a version specifically built for MM use or have some severely heavy editing/patching (educated guessing, due to my ignorance on mod creation) in order to be compatible w/ MM; the same goes for any other mod that would completely rework areas related to this location in particular.
Apologies, if this is considered a necro, but I figured I'd add this little bit I gathered from the MM description, so others looking thru here have a bit more info to understand the 'why' it's incompatible. Now it's time I take another arrow to the knee. :D
Just to know... is that normal that some items have two plaques : one in the manor itself and the others, in the laboratory/Treasure room ?
To explain it more clearly, I was exploring after finding Vlad's body and I saw a statue in his laboratory to put the Auriel's Shield and Bow... while their plaques are still in the normal place in the manor. I also found the same in the treasure room with the parangons jewels : they have their normal plaques in the manor, but also in the treasure room.
The only things missing also are the ebony mail Ebony Blade and the sanguine rose... Besides that (and the hostile's respawning) the mod would be perfect
I'm kinda impressed, you put in a lot of features I wouldn't expect to be in a player home, especially in a creation club mod. Feels like you put in a lot of thought for vampire playthroughs. Almost made me install Volthar Manor again. The only thing that is keeping me from adding it to a new playthrough is the sudden frame drops in most of the newly added areas, compatibility issues with enhanced landscape mod {which is possibly not needed anymore?}, and script lag in animations during interactions. Keep up the good work, regardless.
Yea I still need to add some of these render boxes to the exterior (didn’t knew they existed) so stuff don’t get rendered you can’t see. And portals and rooms is missing
