With the latest Skyrim update and the introduction of "Creations", there's a new ESL and BSA appeared named _ResourcePack. This does not affect the Creation Club content included in the Aniversary Edition/Version of the game as it's essential additional resources available to creators to include in their creations.
There have been updates to some of the Creation Club content included in AE however, those of you looking to update to the latest version of Skyrim will want to go ahead and re-download the Creation Club contents and overwrite your current backup of those files, along with the files you have in your Anniversary Edition Content Picker mod install.
I have installed a fresh copy of Skyrim 1.6.1130+ on my mini streaming PC and made sure that AECP still does as advertised and everything seemed to check out fine as it's the same named files linked with AE, with some bug fixes.
For those who want to know, in order for this mod to work, one has to un-install all their mods, un-install MO2, along with the folder in My Documents called My Games and any Skyrim Special Edition stuff where one first loaded the game. A clean game is needed.
Download Skyrim Special Edition, and the Anniversary addon unless you purchased the set then download it. (I purchased the addon). After the download is complete, then hit play to set the ini files. Start the game and it will download all of the CC stuff. When finished loading, then re-install MO2. Also install SSEdit so you can clean the masters and the cc files that need cleaning.
Make a folder on the desktop called Creation Club Files, another for CC Backup Files and one more for Cleaned Masters. Make two more folders and call one the Anniversary Edition Content Picker and the other I just named Downloaded zip file.
Go the file you downloaded from this mod and copy it into the Downloaded zip file folder and extract it in that folder. Copy the contents into the folder you made and called the Anniversary Edition Content Picker.
Go to where you downloaded Skyrim and in the data foler is all the CC stuff. Copy all of the cc mods and paste them into the cc part of the Anniversary Edition Content Picker, and also copy them into the CC Backup Files folder and into the Creation Club Files just in case. Then go to the Skyrim data file and copy the resource pack, both the esl and bsa into the Anniversary Edition with the cc mods you copied over.
After you copy the files into the Anniversary Edition then compact the folder. Use MO2 to install it by picking the second icon at the top. (the one that looks like a box with a disk) Then have fun picking the ones you want.
Sorry for the long post yet that is what I had to do. There are between 70 and 85 +/- cc content and it will take a while.
It's beyond my (current) abilities but perhaps someone who uses this mod might be willing to update the individual unofficial CC patches - the authors stopped maintaining the individual ones a few updates ago.
Hi. I dont know who to ask for help with this, I just purchased the Anniversary Upgrade. Then installed skyrim again, after launching the game it says to download creation club contents however when i checked the files it still has the 4 free creations mod how can i download all other free that comes with the Anniversary Upgrade? Am I missing something?
When I download all mods I own it says all creations have been downloaded.... Please help...
