This doesn't depend on the leveled list part of the original Tera Weapons mod at all does it? I ask because I always delete leveled lists in SSEEdit so as to avoid any conflicts.....I noticed that they were mentioned in the description page so I just wanted to make sure that this didn't need those records

This mod replaces the esp file that shipped with TERA Weapons, so you will need to replicate your private edits if you want to apply them to this mod. Since you are deleting records in xEdit I'm sure you already know what you are doing, but remember to check the "referenced by" tab prior to deleting leveled lists in order to avoid creating null references in downsteam records.

Actually, I don't really have a clue lol....I know how to "read" SSEEdit just enough to find which records are the leveled lists and delete them (and do a few other minor such things). Hell, the whole purpose I delete leveled lists is because I don't want conflicts as I have no clue how to patch them and I don't really need leveled list anyways as I use Add Item Menu. I understand the first part of what you said though....but that last part about "null references" doesn't mean a thing to me.....nor does anything in the "references" tab, every time I've peeked in there I never really understood what I was looking at. Anyways thanks for the warning, I'll Google what "null references" are and hopefully avoid making any.

No worries. Here's a good page that explains how to detect and manage conflicts using xEdit: https://tes5edit.github.io/docs/5-conflict-detection-and-resolution.html

Null References are a situation that happens when one record tries to look up another record but can't find the target. This can be benign (no effect), annoying (actor spawns without clothes), or fatal (crashes your game).

Thank you for the option in turning non katanna swords into daggers. However, is the 'straight sword as daggers asset pack' included? Where can I find it?

It is built in to the FOMOD installer for version 3.1 - when you go to install you should get a menu where you can choose your options, including the swords-to-daggers assets and plugin.

Version 3.1 is now live. If you're an early adopter who downloaded 3.0 while it was briefly available, please upgrade to 3.1 so you don't get weirdly shaped blood decals.

If this mod doesn't already do it could you possibly make the lances smaller, they are a bit to big for one handed weapons in my opinion. Especially width wise.

I can certainly look into it, though I can't make any promises. I'm not particularly skilled with weapon modeling right now, but at some point it might be a good opportunity to learn.

@AndrewFaulkner, please see the reference image below. Is this more along the lines of what you have in mind? It's not perfect (as you can see there's a bit of an unnatural flex to the wrist) but I think the flaws are not going to be very visible in actual combat, compared to a still image. I'll include a "shorter lances" option in the upcoming FOMOD version.

Nifskope should be enough to resize most weapon models. Reduce the lance size by about 80% should work just fine.

On that note, you might be able to use similar techniques to make dagger variants of the sword as well.

So I observed, it was much easier than expected. As time and interest permits, I will probably fiddle with sizing some more - though it may be a "back burner" project compared to the other, higher priority changes.
